The attractive feature of the S3IS is the macro mode. So try that bro. 0cm macro is simply uber-cool....

Yup...Myvi Model is HOT...
P:S..Some of the pics are a tad dark. Just experiment more with the cam to get the best pics. There are tons of settings which have to be learnt and tested. As for macro, when you use Super-Macro mode a light shake will spoil the pic. If you're able to, use a mini tripod. It helps.....The flash won't work in Super-Macro cos the lens barrel will cast a shadow. This post has been edited by julchin_09: May 29 2006, 09:46 PM |

Thanks for the encouragement
My friend got some free tickets and guess what I will drop in again this Sunday to revisit. I missed the Nissan/Naza/Ferrari showroom My intention to go to KLIM yesterday is actually to snap babes pic. Not interested at those cars at all. Not even one except my bigtime favourite since KLIM 2000 and again they show SMART Roadster. But actually I am quite big fan of KLIM but not anymore. If want to ompare with the year 2000 and 2003. I will say it's the matter next KLIM you might be able to see only models (ambassador) and brochure/catalog. This post has been edited by bioweapon83: May 30 2006, 02:37 AM |

QUOTE(bioweapon83 @ May 30 2006, 02:37 AM) Thanks for the encouragement My friend got some free tickets and guess what I will drop in again this Sunday to revisit. I will say it's the matter next KLIM you might be able to see only models (ambassador) and brochure/catalog. Anyway snapping pics of the models are part and parcel of the KLIMS. The thing is getting the Model to look towards you and smile is challenging. Actually quite dissapointed from the pics everyone has been posting. The gals overshadow the cars and though there are a lot of new concept ones, many are still missing from this show. Also after attending the last BF-GOODRICH Motor/drag show at Sepang in 2004, I've looked at KLIMS differently. You can't see the cars performing.... |

Normally I used manual then set the aperture and focal length so that the pics have well enough lighting. This post has been edited by bioweapon83: Jun 5 2006, 01:08 PM |

IS Setting is normally set to continuous. Panning is for taking sports photography or an object moving horizontally.
Experiment with the ISO settings/shutter speed... You'll hit the right settings in time |

hi, i'm an S3IS user as well. try use the P mode. set the ISO to 200. the cam will take care of the aperture/shutter. you just need to adjust the exposure level. you can also try to adjust the lighting conditions instead of using auto. the pics will turn out superb
