too bad i dun have camera phone.. juz now when i cross the street to the hair saloon.. i saw 1 black stray dog, its head got a hole size like a small bottel.. i can saw inside its head got blood..when it runs slowly i can saw the blood wan to drip out from its head... its was so freaking disgusting thing tht i ever saw... yuck!!!!

i hope it's not a gunshot wound...then again, the dog would have died on the spot from bleeding to death. i think it's tissue necrosis, and eaten away by maggots and yucky stuff. i hope the authorities should round up these injured/dseased stray dogs and put them to sleep rather than put up with all that hullaballoo about 'arresting' people's dogs.

I hope the poor dog can die a quick, painless death...

Same thing happened to me once, near my house. I feel so helpless...

It can be treated. I've seen worse. If the dog has an owner, the vet can treat it. Dog's have flexible skin that can be pulled to stitch it up after it's treated. If the dog is still seen running around with that open wound, then it's chances of surviving is high if taken to the vet soon.

What we suppose to do in this kind of situation?

Can call the pets help centre so that the doggie can sleep peacefully or have some treatment or care?

I don't even know what number to call actually >_<

Poor thing

Well, sadly, there are not many people that will not bother to catch a stray dog for the sake of treating it and adopting it out or keeping it. Maybe if it were a puppy, but a full grown dog? Highly unlikely. I guess the best thing to do is to call SPCA, they'll probably put the poor thing to sleep right after catching it.

yeah i got saw 1 dog 1 month near my house area i think because of decease not people beat the dog . Sad... but it really yuck when i saw... he still alive until last weeks... but i not saw the dog anymore... maybe already died... God bless the dog !

Diseases are gross...when u see the wound "rotting" away. It turns greenish-blk-red...very gross colour.

Ppl who ill treat dogs should be punished...tsk tsk

Poor dog. I saw a grave for a dog near my house before. From what it says on the sign next to it, the dog was abused by some malay teacher and his/her daughter/son. The dog died after someone rescued it and buried it there.
