Wait 10 mins for 6 pm London time guys
QUOTE Arsenal have completed the signing of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a £42.5 million fee, twentyfour7 Football sources understand. Ozil, 24, has undergone a medical in Munich after agreeing personal terms with the North London club – the playmaker is currently on international duty with Germany. Despite reports claiming that Paris Saint-Germain had made a bid for Ozil, who made 51 appearances in all competitions last season, the midfielder has opted to join the Gunners for a fee which smashes Arsenal’s record transfer fee. Ozil is expected to be announced by Arsenal at around 6pm tonight. |

Either way I'll be happy if its just Ozil and the loan signings of Ba and Viviano. Add to Sanogo and Flamini that makes it 5 signings. Not too shabby at all.

QUOTE(lazybump_nonsense @ Sep 3 2013, 02:14 AM) http://www.goal.com/en/teams/england/94/arsenal Don't know man what you post here is completely different than what is in the article.oliver kahn said Ozil is in poor form that's why Madrid sell him It says here he was sold because he doesn't score enough goals, not because of poor form. Watch Ozil score loads with us. Prior to joining us Santi only scored 4 all season for Malaga |

Interesting this from Geoff
Geoff Arsenal @GeoffArsenal 59m Gustavo didn't sign because AW couldn't guarantee him a 1st team place every week. Just shows how proper and fair AW is with players. |

Daily Mail already reporting confirmed deal http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...rce=twitterfeed and Gary Lineker on Twitter as well @GaryLineker : Özil has signed for Arsenal. Terrific acquisition. Always rated him, but wonder why Real Madrid didn't and why Mourinho preferred Willian? |

QUOTE Arsenal have signed Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club-record £42.5million. Agent Per The midfielder signs on a five-year deal worth £140,000-a-week after he had a medical in Germany on Monday, despite Paris Saint-Germain coming in with a more lucrative offer earlier in the day. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger first tracked the midfielder six years ago, but Ozil has now been convinced to join the club by Germany team-mate Per Mertesacker and Wenger himself. |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Sep 3 2013, 03:09 AM) Gab Marcotti kate 'Regarding delay of Ozil to Arsenal, some are reporting it's done now. No confirmation from me, but understand took a while because Ozil was on big money at Real Madrid and would logically want a bump at Arsenal' Fark man just pay him the damn wages. From Chamakh alone also got 60 per week freed up. |

Apparently Crystal Palace chairman has just confirmed that NB52 will only join them IF Arsenal get a replacement striker.
This confirms we are definitely in for a striker. TBH I am not really keen on a Ba loan move. Would prefer a permanent one for example for Abel Hernandez. Palermo has been relegated and we should be able to get him pretty cheaply. |
