Actually, Arsenal has many young talented players in the team already. Gibbs, Jenkinson, Ox, Wilshere, Scz, Walcott, Ramsey. They have been groomed for many seasons and so established that ppl may forgot they are still very young players. Good job to Wenger for this. Spurs and Liverpool?

Yeah, we have establish a British core players but never receive any credits for it.

The one that got away was Bale. Ramsey and Wilshere is only 22 and 21 years respectively. Oldest Walcott is only 24 years. Team spirit is very strong.

Yup, I agree with this.
But hopefully they will stay with us, remember last year walcott almost left us but decided to stay.
This is AW style of football we develop young players to future star but mostly we couldn't keep them for long.

Worse **** "RVP" -haha

That is why AW built the new British core. These Brits are more club-minded rather than money-minded. He tried to create a team around Fabregas, then Fab is homesick, then Na$ri happens, then little-boy happens. Now is the time we can see the British core is fruiting (Ramsey) but the AOC gets injured.

True.
Thats why I'm happy Wenger didn't sell our key players this time.
Losing our key players is worse than not getting new reinforcement this season imo.
Every season, just when we we sure its going to be our season, something will drop off to stop our progress, be it injuries, key players sold, controversial reffereeing, etc.

I'm hopeful we get it right this time and stop selling our best players to other clubs, especially in the same league.

Actually, these are all in Arsenal's long term plan for us to fund the new stadium. With the debt issue almost sorted out and with a much stronger financial footing, I don't think the Board will sell any of these young players if the players want to stay. I can really understand why Arsene is hesitating to spend the cash. He is afraid that he may bring in a few big players and may spoil the team spirit. Imagine having a few camps in the dressing room. Kudos for bringing in team players such as Giroud, Poldi, Cazorla and Arteta. Team spirit is much better now.

Now is the time for us to win a few trophies. League Cup also can.

may I ask..the stadium already paid in full right? thats why there are rumors about the 70m war chest?

league cup is the best way to start..give them the taste of victory..so that they want more and that will motivate them.. nod.gif

Annual Report in Nov 2012 - 252 mil pounds in long-term debt. All well taken care of due to the structure of the debt via instalments. 70 mil war chest from the re-negotiations of sponsors and endorsements.

I can see your very strong team managed to get past group stage last season. They surely can beat minnows team in those group. I'm also pretty sure you're smart and not trolling. Must have been really really unlucky if ur team didn't qualify. Nevertheless, I believe all the energy ur team has put in is very worthwhile. Thank you.
