100 millian can't even buy you a f*cking goal from open play in 3 games.
We totally bossed that game. Should've scored at least one more with the chances we have but credit to Lloris. Great play the lads. |

So the tune has changed? When we signed Flamini I can remember so many people here spouting so much crap. I won't name names. You know who you are.

QUOTE(ChaNzy @ Sep 2 2013, 02:04 AM) of course bro. we brought in an unwanted player from ac milan. it certainly creates negativity around us. no one would enjoice when your club signs a free agent. now that he proves otherwise, he deserves to be praised. thats my opinion That is why always reserve judgment till you see players play. Very stupid to jump to conclusions. |

As much as I hate the Spuds I feel sorry for Capoue. Seems he broke his tibula and fibula. Putting our rivalry aside for the moment, hope he gets well soon. Unfortunate injury indeed.

Now news out Real are negotiating with Pool for Luis Suarez.
If they get Suarez, possible for us to get BOTH Ozil and Benzema? Fuuuuuu but what an attacking quartet Real will have. Bale, Ronaldo, Suarez with Isco behind. This post has been edited by sigheart: Sep 2 2013, 03:48 AM |

Who will be staying up tonight till 6 am? I will
Btw glad that Bale has left Tottnumb. They clearly lacked a player that could do something special and change the game for them at the end when we looked really knackered. Glad the lads managed to hold on and pull it through because they clearly didn't deserve anything from the game. Apart from those 2 Soldado chances which were blocked by Per and Oli and a couple of half chance punts from distance from Townsend I hardly remember them threatening us at all. Speaking of Bale, reminded me of those Chelsea gooks that came in and tried so hard to be smart alecs the last time when we called Bale was gone and just because the latest signing at that time was Capoue they went all ape sh*t about how they thought we meant Capoue was to replace Bale in his position in the team. It was obvious after so many big money signings they were spending Bale money. Even though Levy is worth approximately 3 billion he is a businessman. It was so damn obvious he will look to balance the books to an acceptable level after all the spending and the only way to do that was to sell Bale. And it will somewhat soften the blow for the fans as well, knowing reinforcements have been brought in rather than selling Bale first then only start to sign. Not to mention to let the world know they have 86 million pounds in the bank. Soldado would probably have been 40 million, Lamela 50 million and Eriksen 20 million had it been that way. The same thing happened to us, unfortunately, last year when we signed Santi, Poldi and Oli then I don't think I need to go further. But as usual those from sugar daddy teams won't understand, probably haven't and never will |
