I wonder why so many people buy this Amanah Sahams...looks like I got to read more about it in the first post. But in summary, why do you all go for it? And to my impression, it's like more for bumiputeras, yes?

Thanks. From the way I see it, seems like whoever who buys it more or less confirmed in getting 6-7% of returns each year. Is it why people keep buying if possible?

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I'm surfing the website now.
Can help me to understand something? Last time I heard ASW2020 is closed for non-bumis. From the site, seems like it's open for all still. Does this mean we can buy more fund if we have spare money?

This is the part I don't quite get it...I see many people mentioning how they buy RM100 many times, is this the max allowable? When do people sell off or is it too good to be sold? Sorry for the many questions.

Thanks again for the info. I've been reading almost half of the thread's total pages now and I'm getting better idea of how it works, especially the timing and luck, lol...

I have, hopefully, one last question. From the site, it seems like there's a part which mentions we have to pay certain % of fee? How does this work?
I'm not entirely sure because it seems like no one has mentioned it so far in the discussion.

I suppose u refer to service charges (sc)
This is applicable to variable price products
If u keen to buy, u need to pay sc on top of NAV

Thanks! So I guess I'll go for the fixed price products.

Btw, when is the next 'good' timing to try top-up?

Think I'm ready to go for it then, thanks!

I read that there are those who can do online top-up. I wonder why not many try their luck online instead of walk-in. Must be some limitations that I'm not aware of smile.gif

I wonder if it's possible for us to get our bumi friends to buy using their quota and then sell it back to us over the counter. Do you think that will bypass any quota restriction? tongue.gif
