Just a few ringgit, satu teh Tarik sudah pergi. Comparing to other trust fund.

You are very naive when it comes to investing isn't it? Do more research next time rather than wasting all your hard earned money...

ASG-Pendidikan charges 5% sales charge, compared to most funds you can buy online with less hassle at 2% or less.

Also ASG-Pendidikan track performance is not that good compared to other UTs...if fact downright terrible...compared to funds like Kenanga Growth Fund.

Or if you desire the 60:40 mix like in ASS, you can mix Kenanga Growth fund (2% sales charge) and Amdynamic bond (0% sales charge) whihc will result in higher earnings and less cost.

Why else do you think ASG is not popular (total ~100 million units sold from approved 1 bil units)? wink.gif

Even with 2% sales charge other UT still give you more bang for the buck isn't it? wink.gif And you can do everything online...

Every year has more than 7% dividends.

The dividend does not represent returns, when buying non fixed priced fund, looking at dividend is useless. The dividend is paid out of your left pocket to your right pocket. For these funds you need to calculate total return. For non fixed priced funds, it is possible to have LOSSES in a year it is not guaranteed you must earn every year.

Looking at dividend return only works for fixed priced funds like ASB and AS1M. Now these fund are 100% guaranteed you will not lose money, that is why they are so very popular.

You need to consider the change in NAV as well when buying ASG, buying at the wrong time will kill your returns.. overall ASG funds has been largely under performing other non-fixed price UT.

Anyway it's your money and so it's your choice...

Dun agree
The total average returns for 1 year @ 31/3/2013 exceeds its benchmark

Well if it is your cup of tea then go ahead and buy. But compared to other ut, the performance is nothing to shout about... tongue.gif
