guys,
I heard that banks are going to cut on the ASB loan. No more ASB loan after this. Is that true? Or is it just a non sense rumors?

QUOTE(lucifah @ Nov 18 2013, 09:49 AM) unless you have kept a very high balance for the past 10 years, then just forget about the bonus what do you mean by very high balance for past 10 years? I thought, bonus is based on how old your ASB account is (10 years will earn you 100% declared bonus) regardless balance.for my case, because of my stupidity in my younger years, my bonus is roughly about 3% of my total dividend, which, at best, is less than rm100 |

QUOTE(lucifah @ Nov 20 2013, 08:55 AM) u thought wrong Thanks for the info and crap for the rule! .. my asb is more than 20 yrs old (since ting ting book) one fine stupid day, i w/drew almost all my balance to buy an expensive mountain bike during uni days (u know how piss poor uni students are) and now back to 2013, when my balance is giving me 5 figure dividend returns, my bonus barely touches the 3 figures young, raging hormones to be blamed. any idea how much the minimum to get 100% of declared bonus? |

QUOTE(lucifah @ Nov 20 2013, 05:16 PM) there isn't a set minimum figure Ah .. thanks bro .. bonus is based on the lowest balance of the year anf averaged for the past 10 years it is best to ignore the bonus part as it is always misleading (u know how most banks advertise ASB has 9% dividend - when actually it is just 8% dividend + 1% bonus) |

guys,
for asb, I heard that if we plan our withdrawal well, we will earn dividen ... eg: have to maintain the amount maybe in 1st week, then withdraw (say RM20k) from 2nd-3rd week. Just before 4th week end, top up again RM20k. So at least we have some money for rolling for 2nd and 3rd week. Anyone hv exact date when ASB cutoff date for dividen calculation? |
