this is what i heard, they will open up loan for ASB2. ASB2 is not like ASB, it is not open ended where there is no fund limit. So first come first serves. Don't know how true is this though.

unless you have kept a very high balance for the past 10 years, then just forget about the bonus

for my case, because of my stupidity in my younger years, my bonus is roughly about 3% of my total dividend, which, at best, is less than rm100

my asb is more than 20 yrs old (since ting ting book)

one fine stupid day, i w/drew almost all my balance to buy an expensive mountain bike during uni days (u know how piss poor uni students are)

and now back to 2013, when my balance is giving me 5 figure dividend returns, my bonus barely touches the 3 figures

young, raging hormones to be blamed. 

there isn't a set minimum figure

bonus is based on the lowest balance of the year anf averaged for the past 10 years

it is best to ignore the bonus part as it is always misleading (u know how most banks advertise ASB has 9% dividend - when actually it is just 8% dividend + 1% bonus)

Int is calculated based on min balance in a mth from 1st to 31st
