Fundamentally I personally cannot see this happening. None of what used to be normal macro-economic behaviors where gold vs oil vs USD are always either a direct or inverse correlation with each other has been destroyed and thrown out of the window no thanks to the US-FED QE plan to just print money.

Gold used to be what investors rush to in flight to safety whenever USD or crude oil goes down but if one is to chart the prices since the 2008 financial crisis, everything is just haywire. Add to that ETFs that take large chunks of gold-related transactions, the basic fundamental of gold demand is just out of sequence with what most people used to believe how gold should behave.

Apologies in advance if I confuse anyone tongue.gif

The price is so unpredictable nowadays. See now, already dropped but not so "sharp" unlike in April. Dropped so "sharp" within few days shakehead.gif

Dont worry, as long as you revise your budget, it still can be done..

I am going to revise my budget already.. especially my meals for lunch can revise to be not so costly..

Previously i have such plans but i did not really stick to it, as a result i spend between RM8 and RM10 per meal..

Now, seriously have to sacrifice to downgrade the budget to RM5 per meal, at least save about RM70 per month..

A sacrifice was required to earn passive income, nothing much can be done.. blush.gif

What if the shop increase the food prices (they give logistic cost increase as excuses)? Now rm5/meal increased to rm6?

I'm expecting the price of goods & services to increase a bit vmad.gif mad.gif

Yea, I should be grateful I've the account (thanks to my parents for "forcing" me to open one) smile.gif

Nowadays every weekends you can see the the newspaper got advertisement about ASG. The one guy already very famous. Every weekend got his face in the paper telling ASG is good investment, help his life etc.

The only thing about ASG is the price fluctuation which directly link to performance of Bursa Malaysia. We cannot predict the price.

Ringgit Cost Averaging

The technique of buying a fixed ringgit amount of a particular investment on a regular schedule, regardless of the share price. More shares are purchased when prices are low, and fewer shares are bought when prices are high.

Eventually, the average cost per share of the security will become smaller and smaller. Ringgit-cost averaging lessens the risk of investing a large amount in a single investment at the wrong time.

For example, you decide to purchase $100 worth of XYZ each month for three months. In January, XYZ is worth $33, so you buy three shares. In February, XYZ is worth $25, so you buy four additional shares. Finally, in March, XYZ is worth $20, so you buy five shares. In total, you purchased 12 shares for an average price of approximately $25 each.
