I can't seem to find any guides for entry-level DSLR in the forum
I am an occasional camera user (read: 4-5 time a year only use camera)
Ordinary, non-SLR digital camera pictures seems not juicy enough to my liking.
I am currently using Canon SLR EOS series (can't remember which model, but it's one of the entry level type - around 1,300+ in 2002)
And as cost of buying films and developing them is quite high (compared to digital) and not to mention scanning them into digital form will add some significatn cost, here's my question:
Is there any entry level DSLR that costs around 1,500 - which will replace my current SLR?
Or should I play the waiting game and wait another 2-3 yrs before migrating to DSLR (when the price fits my budget?)

I just spend RM1200 on a FM2, a manual film body and a 50mm f/1.4 lens. Try film, theyre cheaper and if youre only gonna use it 5 times a year, its probably a better choice.
The viewfinders are great too.. much better than the small viewfinders in DLSRs.
