Thinking of getting the GE 70 Apache Pro. Where did you guys buy yours from? Trying to find a trustworthy dealer. I live in KL. Thanks for the recommendations, guys!

Any sifu mind enlighten me, I recently got myself a GE60-2OC, and i came to understand that the blue power button = Intel HD GPU, orange power button = nVidia GPU. The first day i bought and started my laptop its on blue when on desktop surfing and stuff and goes orange when I'm gaming. But after that it just stays on orange forever, even on startup also orange only...what happen ah...i didnt disable my Intel HD GPU as well, so...anyone mind enlighten me? >.<

umm, of coz i like it to run on the nVidia GPU haha, but if there is a function of running the Intel HD GPU when im not gaming, why not use it? xD dowan stress my GPU all the time mah. haha~ im plugged in to the power source all the time, so i dont think its the battery thingy haha...

plug out then laptop cannot turn on edi, hahahaha, i didnt plug in battery when connected to power source. hmm, tonight i'll charge my battery for the first time and see how it goes bah

Hi guys, I realize when my batt fully charged, it won't charge even plugged with the AC power. Is it normal? If it was normal, then it is safe for me to keep the battery on my laptop with AC power on even when playing game?

FYI, I rarely plug in AC power with battery on. Usually I will remove battery if plug in AC unless I want to charge the battery.

After many hours of testing (because im a noob) this is what I found out.

Got GS70, update windows, updated Nvidia GTX870m installed Elder Scrolls Online. Couldn't get through intro title. Screen has huge pixels in them.

Couldnt uninstall graphics driver, restore to factory settings. Installed ESO again. Still same problem. Updated Direct X11, Windows, still same problem.

Reset to factory again. Update Windows, MSI driver from MSI's support page, and Direct X11. Installed ESO, still cant. Installed Bioshock Infinite and benchmark test. Both tells me that I have some Direct 3D problem.

Run "dxdiag" seems normal but at 3rd page, 3D Acceleration = "Not Available".

So what do I do now? I tried to run ESO and force it to DX9 then it works for a while.

The older GE40 uses a 760m, a 55w GPU..

I wonder why they went with the 850m (40w) as an upgrade when it could have easily accommodated a Maxwell 40-45w 860m and gotten a much better gain in performance.

I scare later after i push it as hard as i cound i cant put it out. My friend using same model as mine and he has no problem on this at all.
By the way, im planning to request a one to one exchange based on this problem, but worry it is not a main problem and the shop dun accept my request 

vbios update, mine couldn't take the -75mv mod, it would crash frequently. Not sure if it's due to the vbios mod or something else, will need to troubleshoot.
