GT70 different la

No doubt the APU pulled down the overall gaming experience on GX series. sad...
but anyhow, by changing the ram, it does help alot in performance of the Processor

Don't call it spamming, it's "constructive conversation" lol. Besides, MSI now basically has one of the most active threads in the Notebook subsection - isn't that a good thing?

As for wrapping, I'm planning to DIY wrap the eye-sickening glossy plastics inside oni with CF (and the metal palmrest because it gets kinda warm). For the lid I'll probably source some 3M automotive clear vinyl (like Invisible Shield, only for cars).

Or maybe get black brushed aluminium vinyl for the plastic parts AND CF for the palmrest. Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

I'm actually regretting peeling off the specs sticker. It was such an effective heat shield for my left palm. Now my palm feels warm when the GC gets to barely 60-70c. Ugh.

Ugh, clearly you guys misunderstood my term "spam". shakehead.gif
I mean it in a good way brows.gif

Isnt that 3M thing expensive? Regarding the spec sticker, removing it make the laptop look nice, and you know what they say,
Comfartable = not nice
Nice = not comfortable biggrin.gif

Wait later I put vinyl. Will look nice AND feel nice.

3M actually not THAT expensive. Large square grid of 3M CF pattern enough to cover Kancil bonnet is around 50-60. Other weird patterns like brushed alum and stuff will be like 70-80 at most, same size. Problem is, you'll have to have the patience to cut it and paste it yourself.

Or you can send to "laptop skinning" shops that prolly use substandard vinyl and charge you double that... biggrin.gif
