Yes, it is definetely compatible. Yours is Win 8.1 default right? Have you done any Windows update recently?

Just wondering.... Anyone here use wireless mouse? Mind to share which wireless mouse u using n ur experience? Looking for a wireless mouse now...
*
Previously using Logitech M705, now switch to Logitech G700s during warranty claim as M705 malfunction twice within 1 year because of USB receiver. And FYI, Logitech stuff are all 3 yrs warranty, anything happens besides your carelessness and natural disaster are free for 1 to 1.

how the logitect gaming mouse quality? was thinking getting razer... steelseries too exp...
*
Quite good, build quality is not bad, it depends on luck, like my case: twice in a yr period, so no luck for M705. More important is you should try to fit with your hand, my hand is big so I choose G700s, it is not light, quite heavy. I am not sure others such as Razer and Steelseries, you can find the one that suit you, wired or wireless, it is up to you.

true, need to c which fit the best... any shop in lowyat that i can hold the razer mouse arr?
*
I think you just go to Digitall mall or lowyat plaza to "molest" them gao gao, most of the shops sell quite a lot, if you near Midvalley, you can go to "Add-On" shop as they sell gaming mouse also. Recently, I just bought Alienware Vindicator 18" backpack from them, save almost RM60 compared to RRP price.

Other people have the same problem too.

GS70 2PE STEALTH PRO keeps crashing with 870M
GS70 Stealth Nvidia 860m driver crashes

Somewhet related. Game freezing
MSI GS70 Stealth - Micro-freeze while gaming

From the forum, some people disable the GTX870m and use Intel HD graphics but thats not a fix.
*
Hmmm, do you try searching users other than MSI but have GTX860M and GTX870M for their laptop? Lets see whether it is common driver issue.

I cannot tahan until I bought a Logitech T650 wireless touchpad.. I'll give my review on that later when I test it out.. just got it today.. LOL.. You hear that MSI? Your RM 6000 laptop needs to get 3rd party touchpad to use.. -.-
*
So far the best I use in touchpad is by Synaptic, my old DELL studio 1555 also by Synaptic, MSI GT70 also sypnaptic, it i just that the touchpad area is so small, so mistouch issue ia quite serious.

Yesterday I just bought MSI gp60 i7 version. Everything work fine except for one thing, the audio jack hole can't fit my 3.5 mm headphone. It is too tight to put it in and its like something that block it. I tried to put on 3.5mm headphone into my friend laptop which is same as mine and he got no problem at all. I'm thinking to go back the shop check on Sunday. Does it possible for me to get one to one exchange as I just bought yesterday ?
*
Can you show the snapshot here? I know this issue in other forum, but I wonder the audio jack should be 3.5 mm.

This is the snapshot of my problem, the max i can go for the audio jack hole.  cry.gif
*
Do you try plug it as hard as you can? If you did, and it is still not working, it means that something wrong with the audio jack, go to MSI service center.

I scare later after i push it as hard as i cound i cant put it out. My friend using same model as mine and he has no problem on this at all.
By the way, im planning to request a one to one exchange based on this problem, but worry it is not a main problem and the shop dun accept my request  cry.gif
*
if purchased within 7 days, then you can 1-1 exchange, if not, prepare for weeks/months warranty claim period bcs the audio jack is on the motherboard. Dunno how they repair it, if require some technical part, most probably they will send back to Taiwan/China factory.

Just ordered GT70 2PC and waiting for it to arrive  biggrin.gif
i wonder what is included inside the box. I saw at MSI dragon army website, they give free steel series headphone & mouse and MSI bag, are they giving the same in Malaysia?  blush.gif
*
If I am not mistaken, it is only available for Taiwan variant, you will see two huge boxes: 1 for laptop + 1 for steelseries headphone and mouse.

Owhh..I thought MSI did the same to Malaysia, its ok but its good to have a free gift like that  biggrin.gif
*
Not really, I am not sure, but according to my observation, Malaysia variant laptop regardless of any brands always get the basic set only.

hahah please dont laugh...

i am experimenting whats the best way to reduce my gs70 heat.
hopefully can prolong its life.

nevertheless, please refer to the pic below.
I was running MSI Kombustor and usually the temp will hit 90c
also i am in ac room but not too cold temp as my ac kinda need servicing.

finally i tried this method and it is useless.......

*
Haha, quite a good DIY pictures, the best way you can do is open the backcover, and direct your air from AC to blow them. laugh.gif

serious way: redo a thermal repaste on GPU and CPU frequently.

Guys ever since I updated my windows to 8.1 for GS70, my graphics cards seems like not running, keep hanging during games. Do I need to update the graphic cards software?
*
Only GS70 encounter?? can you describe more, bcs I am using WIN8.1 for months already, so far no issue encountered, only few times playing NFS: Rivals, the car stuck while still can hear engine sound.

May I ask, how is the warranty service for MSI compare with Lenovo & Asus. Please rate by order. Thanks
*
Your request should be limited to region, for Malaysia, my opinion is:

DELL >= Illegear > Lenovo > MSI > ASUS

MSI warranty service sounds little bit confused to me, you better check with authorized sellers or MSI sc. By the way, only DELL, Illegear and Lenovo offer warranty upgrade. These are the 5 brands I know only, others I am not sure.

Pretty much this. Dell will go to your house and replace broken items for free(while under warranty). And no questions asked. Sometimes the replace almost everything and don't have to go through retailer.

Once I called on Thursday and on Friday they came and replace the whole motherboard including processor, gcard, heatsink, and fan. I hope MSI can do this. Sending back to the manufacturer usually takes 2-3 weeks atleast.
*
Too bad for DELL is the Alienware is quite expensive, and other specs are not that attractive compared to other brands. But int terms of warranty, it is the best, my old DELL studio after 4 yrs still can be used.

Errr... Wait, MSI warranty got that bad?
*
DELL, Lenovo and Illegear offer warranty upgrade, so surely better than MSI. And if you dig the history last year, some users did complaint the warranty service of MSI. Mainly due to the period of repair (bcs send back to Taiwan factory), similar to ASUS, but better than ASUS bcs MSI is still new in Malaysia.
