QUOTE(howler @ Sep 3 2013, 11:42 PM) sometimes i wonder .... new batteries nowadays are "maintenance free" where we don't have to add battery water I do doubt with the so called "maintenance free" battery provided original with our car. Proton quoted me RM312 for that battery.however the outlets are still there and they are covered with a sticker which says that the warranty is void if removed.... if your battery died in 11 months , did you open the sticker to see if the outlets can really be opened and water be added ? I didn't bother to open and check since the battery is not with me now. I though of going to claim but the service centre point it to me in the service booklet; 12months or 20,000km whichever occurs first. My ride currently 40k km. Bought the Panasonic battery, I'm fine with it. |
