We usually go dyno using dynodynamics or dynojet. for dynodynamics, make sure the ramp rate is 50 before you go dyno. thumbup.gif

wait, think the unit is mess up here. the page that you shown is Kw, the dyno chart shld be hp unit.
but as I saw from older source, stock 2.0 produce around 110 hp on wheel dyno whistling.gif so my lala still gain over 17hp icon_idea.gif

Any spec sheet you see are all ON ENGINE DYNO.

150bhp 2.0 cvt
138bhp 1.8 mt
bla bla bla ..

manufacturer wont give u on wheel figures..

engine transfer power to gearbox via clutch or via Torque converter

MT definitely via clutch and most auto uses torque convertor..

There will be power lost when transmitting the power.. thats why on wheel figure much lower ..
reference normally around 15% for MT.. 20 - 25% for AT

just wondering about wheels

1) if we use a 18inch wheel compared to 16 or 17inch wheel , same tyre brand , will the wear and tear of 18inch be lower than 16/17 inch. This is due to the bigger diameter. One rotation with 18inch has a longer distance than 16 inch

2) anybody using 18 inch ? Can it fit ? what kind of adjustments are required ?

3) anyone has any idea of R18 tyre price ??? thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

somebody told me that if the wheels are bigger , then it will last longer than smaller wheels due to the larger circumference ......

i very gatal ...... 18 inch rims look nice ....... but no $$$$$$ for tyres sad.gif

1)same, cause rim bigger u use smaller profile tyre to get more or less same overall diameter/circumferences.

2) Yes , why not
these size can fit
205/60r16
215/55r16
215/50r17
225/45r17
225/50r17
215/45r18<----lancer gt stock size, not many choose this size cause non common size, less tyre choice.
225/40r18<----a bit small than stock 16
225/45r18<----recommend this one cause slightly bigger than stock 16 and thicker rubber.

3)achilles atr rm2xx to rm3xx per unit
toyo c1s rm6xx
michelin ps3 rm6xx to rm8xx
continental csc3 rm9xx to rm10xx
