Question : Engine and Gearbox assemble locally or imported ?
Grand mother story ..
I dont know how much you guys are involve in manufacturing line, I myself have something to do with proton.. and few of my close frens works in factory machinary engineering field. Running a factory is not something simple. Its all about COST.
How fast to make one car, how to tune up the line, how many workers, part supply constantly, how parts are being placed so that worker can access fast.
In proton plant, one normal month they can row out like 3000 units of saga, that is 100 car per day (they work everyday) . Imagine what happen if one of the roller machine fails ? the whole line stop .. worker no need work, supplier send stock to plant (stock keep growing) .. engineer being pressure to fix the flow. The car delivery to the customer stuck.
Line stop, worker no need work ... NO OUTPUT , still need to pay worker , need to compensate customer or kena Thew..
stock pile up .. allocate space, you might need to stop the supplier from shipment temporary, kena thew also ..
Okay .. now back to the main quest .. Engine and Gearbox ..
To create a manufacturing line, you need to design how the parts are being place inside the factory to access fast and easy by the worker..
You need proper rack or equipment to accommodate for different shape parts and so on ..
You need those machinary to confirm to move the parts around according to the flow
You need to train worker on how to pasang each and every part (we are talking about MANY workers) ..
Lastly, you need the SPACE and the machinary , campro and 4B10/4B11 are different layout totally.
For a production rate of mearly 300 cars per month ... you do the math .. isit local assemble..
Con7lan9firm you consult with alex and jayraptor regarding this info..
