haha.. actually i worked in brunei before... usually cars come with 1 spec only... and often its the lowest spec.. since ppl dont care about gadget... most cars also no alarm... my friend's audi tt also got no alarm lol...

when cars are cheap ppl dont obsess bout it.. just buy one that suit their use.. tak suka tukar... maintenance guy potong rumput use vios put rumput dlm bonnet.... tea lady also drive swift....

its not car is cheap in brunei... its car is crazy expensive in Msia...

based on xp everywhere also got pro and cons.. brunei car cheap but u never own land (all belong to sultan), live like its 80s cos not much progress .. in thai buy car cheap but refill tank also think 3 times cos expensive.... my gf work in uk buy car cheap but actual ownership cost is like same buy new car after 2-3 years... msia car expensive but can go race2 kemek can ketuk paint cheap lol.. singapore dunno no xp

Your GF ownership cost high cause she's young/new driver hence insurance is painful. Overall msia cars are easily 5x more expensive then Uk.

The markup is small money... but every car in malaysia is subjected to multitude of taxes.. and also AP... AP a cost that terus masuk pocket certain people... so ..... we buy 1 car in msia... we actually contributing not only to the country but to many 3rd parties' pocket..... Malaysia are such a generous bunch
