40k service own engine oil
Change brake fluid, coolant, and cvt oil
Cost me about RM450
Ask them about the flushing they said they never did any flushing as they don't have the machine rclxub.gif
*
if using decent/good lubes, and service them on time, no need flushing nod.gif

only worry about flushing issues maybe 100k km later or so tongue.gif

The service guy ask me not yet 100k want to service already ah?

I think most of the people did the cvt oil change at 100k sweat.gif
*
oil change earlier ok geh, in fact, doing so (while costly) could render flushing pointless since it's so clean already and sludge/buildup etc never formed (which is why you need to flush in the first place) so if you look at it in another way, it could actually be cheaper than doing flushing services (extra lube needed, wasting some more since only use for flushing lol, and labor/machine required)

Yah I also wanna know after change got better to not  brows.gif

personally imho la, if you maintain your lube well, most of the time replacing lubes will NOT "feel better" as sludge/buildup never form hence no degradation.

ask anyone using expensive EO how they feel after their OCI especially when using same EO again.

differences are only there if:
- lube degradation (for whatever reason, sludge or build up, or additives/base stock breaking/broken down)
- lube upgrading (shell mineral upgrade to Torco SR-1 or motul 300v, go figure LOL!)
- lube difference (xw50 change to xw30... con lan firm rev happy/damn light laugh.gif)

for the most part, follow manufacturer's recommendation's best nod.gif

(my own iswara recommended xw50, personally, f*** that and mix xw30/40 laugh.gif)

Sentra on xw40 recommendation but it's been sitting on xw20 for a long while. mom loves it so lol!
planning to play with 20-30 or so with the inspira brows.gif

Eh any experience with M7 EO?
The fully syn pro-oil 5w-40.
*
TBH i don't really have that much experience in japanese EO (so yeah no exp on the M7)
simply because readily available information for those EO aren't available such as:
- API certification
- Japanese certification standards that i can query
- UOA data
- MSDS/tech spec documentations

ALL i get are butt dyno from these EOs.
save from few exceptions such as the Eneos high end EO such as the sustina lineup... (i'm interested to try these someday hehe)

oh ya, if the rear is using combination of drum + disc for our inspira, does opening up the drum brake casing and cleaning of accumulated brake dust is required similar to how other rear drum brake fitted vehicles such as my iswara?

or, because it is only used for parking/hand brake, chances are dust is so minimal that it wouldn't matter at all until a major service maybe 50k km or 100k km just opening it to check/adjust if required?

Gooding..
Actually proton cut of a lot off sound proof padding.. The handbrake area, if u remove proton one kosong.. Whereelse lancer one u can see pads..

and sound from B-pillar and dashboard A-pillar is a design flaw.. A pillar metal to metal joint.. Where we jit some silicon gel or glue to reduce the sound.. B pillar is the seatbelt move up n down part .. B pillar not all kena but A most will kena..

As for more sound.. Its actually thanks to the localize white clip.. Open up any part u will see part A secure to part B with a white clip in between.. The white clip is vibrating due to the size not 100% match.. So what I did was remove the white clip.. Put some double side tape.. Foam type.. So it fill up the gap.. Then place back the clip.. This should eleminate a lot funny sound..
*
hand brake sound proofing... that's a first to me (from original manufacturer that is)

welp, i'm gonna be spending a fortune of sound proofing, entire car strip down etc so... i guess it'll be covered lol
i've seen the inspiras at howiechoo , (yes multiple ones) doing full sp with the car strip down to bare bone hehe
