QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 29 2013, 10:44 PM) Rate wise, Pubic is quite competitive. So, either you go 1 Malaysia(Cina India Malay Banggalah) bank or Am for slightly easier approval, but also more expansive on interest rate is there any limitation on certain bank's car loan for proton car ?my father mentioned bout this I'm thinking if Maybank is okay? cos my salary directly banked in to Maybank and I oso hold CC with them would that make me more trustable and approval process faster? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2013, 11:30 PM) Change bank? not sure holding Maybank AMEX and VISA gold card makes a difference or not I wanted to try Maybank too because my salary is credited through Maybank every month but my SA said Maybank has higher interest rate compared to others. Not sure how true is that, you can try though. will try to ask my mum bout my another savings acc since i was young not sure whether still got money or not... cos they may took it out during financial problem but just now i heard she said my sis (only standard 5) got 1k can pinjam me ... fingers crossed inside still had at least rm500 ... if no money then really bias to the max |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 29 2013, 11:42 PM) Plotong car loan is the easiest, usually can do full loan at all with any banks. i'm now paying minimal payment for my AMEX due to keeping money for my downpaymentIt's not entirely a bad idea for MayBank if you have all the quality as you mentioned. However, interest rate is kinda anal, other than that their approval criteria is kinda insane as well. Bear in mind, bank greatly relying on their customer's debts to make profit. Hence, if you have clean credit card record, your bank is going to hesitate to lend you more. If you have direct salary banked into the same bank, rest assured the bank know your general ledger inside out, where you spend those cash, how many standing instruction monthly fixed expanses, all within their assessment. If you ask me as a bank officer, hell I will definitely do the same like Pubic bank, approve your loan at lower sum, make u shorten repayment with higher interest rate On the contrary, should you smart enough to drag 1 or 2 months of your credit card, leave some unsettle balance in the car, like 200~300 debts all the time. You'll get loan approval immediately no question asked! I'm saying you should continue service a small debt, I didn't ask you skip payment. Skip payment will kena CTOS, loan will kena reject. thinking bank loan will approve .... mana tau they wan to reduce 1k further .... and the car dealer cant accept credit card for payment ... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2013, 11:46 PM) The hell?! oh .. actually I can afford You are now digging your own graveyard. Let me put in a blunt way. Don't get a credit card if you cannot afford. Full stop. clean record full payment every month on time ... just had to leave some outstanding this month due to the house loan I mentioned ... cos need to satisfy so many parties This post has been edited by tzxsean: Aug 29 2013, 11:49 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2013, 11:50 PM) I don't know what sorcery is this... well .. have to keep some ready cash with me You only need to have credit history, you don't need to be in debt. If like this, my car loan will not be approved from the first day. I have never owed back a single cent. Even I checked with bank on the possibilities to get house loan, they said I shouldn't have any issue for this. I'm getting my own house next year. I'm too poor for now. since I need to pay downpayment .. and other expenses while anticipating some extra demand from family apa boleh buat ... they think i grow money on trees ... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 29 2013, 11:54 PM) Sorry guys. I know I'm a bit harsh. yea trueBecause I will never encourage people to pay minimum amount or late payment since young days. My second sister was a classic example and she was in a great debt before. She took 5 years to pay back to my aunt because my aunt helped her to pay everything to the banks. Now only she started to have some savings. She only had RM 100 every month for 5 years but luckily she stayed at PD home. So food and accommodation were saved. RM 100 for her petrol because she needs car to work. I have received calls from lawyers and etc. Banks la whatever you can think of. Luckily not loan sharks. i oso very against idea of borrowing money from ppl either bank or relative (house loan car loan itu exeption la anyway this is my 1st minimum payment from last year november until now ... so i dun think im a bad cc owner now it would be great if suddenly my mum somehow return me RM600 (RM400 being her monthly allowance) then I can fork out the 1k without any issue |

Tak cakap mana tau. good to hear that .. thx for the advice Though my parents know how much I earn every month, I'm being frank to them how much I can give them because I still need savings for my own house. They are OK with RM 800 from me every month. They are happy, I'm happy. night |

apparently even I can fork out RM1k ..PBB still require me to get a guarantor so this morning my SA helped me applied Ambank for 33k loan within half day it's already approved 2.85% for 7 years ... what do you guys think? and usually you all just pay booking fee (how much) when sign the HP agreement? and the remaining when the car comes? |
