davidke20, the overflow is because our ECU uses purging sequence at start. It is to clear any air column in injector. This purging procedure is an option in standalone Megasquirt ECU too. In documentation, it says purging is not to help starting anyway, so if comfortable, you can twist the key quickly before the "weeee" finishes.

QUOTE(dares @ Sep 2 2013, 12:07 PM) Complete transplant with gearbox? what car is the donor, Preve or Exora? Without gearbox, just engine+borg warner turbo from Preve. Engine only RM5k. Got a few pieces at the person's place.I'd thought that CFE halfcuts are rare I asked whether I need to change transmission or not, he said no need. |

Much lesser brake dust.http://www.compact-brake.com/product_detai...=38&language=en http://www.compact-brake.com/downloadfile_...=38&file=38.pdf not ceramic pun, ceramic TECHNOLOGY lol. some random fun: http://ebcbrakes.com/product/redstuff-brake-pads/ not even full ceramic, only particles. and guess what, red stuff is almost 3 times the price of greenstuff for luxury/prestigious cars over 200bhp of performance that want absolutely low brake dust (in other words, it's overkill as hell for our cars) |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 3 2013, 09:23 PM) RM80 to repair. Life time warranty. Can try to nego, may be can get cheaper. Call your insurance company, ask whether your windscreen covered. If yes, ask whether you can do partial claim for REPAIR not replace. Still can't find a replacement as safe as the factory bond?Try to keep original windscreen as long as possible. It's 1 of the major safety feature of a CAR. |

ECU need 13.5V to function? Then how to start car?
Some ECU can function with 6V and onwards already although I'm unsure of Siemens/Continental ECU. |

QUOTE(wanfauzan @ Sep 6 2013, 11:42 AM) it astonishing to know that my intake air temperature is significantly higher than the ambient. as per OBD reading this morning, after half an hour city drive, mostly idling at traffic light or behind others, the end intake temperature before I park was at 48 C. Ambient I believe shall not more than 28, due to rain this morning. That's cold. Intake temperature can usually hover around 60+. If got turbo, it can reach >90. |

2k will give only mixer type. Poor performance.
The picture shows injector is drilled into manifold, injected sequentially. Sequential installation costs near 4k to start, high performance ones go up to 6k and more. |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Sep 6 2013, 03:32 PM) what i mean is, ngv for now is not practical. pump station for NGV talak cukup. beratur panjang, itu baru teksi pakai. nak install ngv.exe pun mahai. This is just public's perception, without really trying it themselves. What if I say 99% of the time, I don't have to wait any longer than 5 minutes, and most of the time there's no queue. Pumps are in abundance in Klang Valley, enough to cater current users. It is a problem at other states though.QUOTE(wanfauzan @ Sep 6 2013, 03:46 PM) There are no change to petrol combustion, it works just like usual except that the tank weighs a little.QUOTE(garybenjamin @ Sep 6 2013, 04:06 PM) definately yes coz u added 85kg (depends on size of ngv tank if 80L should be 85-88kg) tank into your boots My 70L tank is 50+KG. Type 2 cylinder, which is semi-fibre. If fully carbon fiber tank or whatever, it's around 30KG. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Sep 6 2013, 05:04 PM) If we are at Saga BLM, FL & FLX thread, I have to assume the car is not carburettor and will not be cheapskate to install mixer system onto fuel injection car. Mixer system will spoil user's perception to NGV. Because tuning depends on hand, and no precise injection setting at different RPM and load, some top speed can't even exceed 110km/h, cannot go up Genting, engine overheat etc |

QUOTE(garybenjamin @ Sep 6 2013, 05:11 PM) Hohoho, mine is Exon gas but last time got MAP sensor. Now due to import tax increase, they choose not to take the MAP sensor.Anyway, the MAP sensor does not affect the tuning or operation. It is just to detect pressure of gas in regulator, switch it to petrol when you run low pressure of gas. Without the MAP sensor, you just need to switch it manually when you run out of gas. Edit: To answer your question about reliability, I have no issue with the system. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Sep 6 2013, 05:27 PM |

QUOTE(garybenjamin @ Sep 6 2013, 05:38 PM) Oic ... because they told me Exon Gas is the basic and i'm stun when the price is so damn fastastic good .... just the draw back is no auto switch to petrol .. which another package Bugatti they offer me which slightly cost more but with map sensor ... so i'm dilemma between Exon Gas and the CEG Bugatti hahaha Auto switch to petrol is not needed for advanced drivers. Only for those women, they find it very useful. When pressure runs low, the engine will sharply show signs. No need MAP sensor to tell. But then I don't know what is the difference in CEG Bugatti ECU. Let's go there and have a look. Lol.. |
