Wow, I'm impressed by you guys. Mine is very normal compared to you guys. My parents owned a restaurant and I never had any holidays with my family when I was young. Holiday season was the season my parents earned the most.

Then the economic crisis happened in 1997 and JE in 1999 had hit my parents' business... Still they tried so hard to send both my sisters to private colleges with their hard earned money.

When it came to my turn, they told me honestly they can't support me anymore. I took up PTPTN and continued my studies. All this while, I did pretty well in my studies but I didn't do so well in my university days. I took up Engineering that time... I hated myself so much.

Then, I took up the courage and told my family that I couldn't cope with my studies anymore... I said I wanted to continue studying business but which major? My eldest sister suggested me to take up HR. I followed her advice and graduated with second class upper in HR. biggrin.gif

I was fortunate to be picked up by my current company for internship program. The only internship student until now. After my internship, they absorbed me and here I'm today. I think I'm doing pretty well in my career and I'm grateful that things work out very well for me.

Throughout my journey, I have met with many people and they are very nice people to help me all the time. I'm really thankful for that.

laugh.gif I'm actually very thankful that I got into a well-renowned MNC as an internship student and they absorbed me to be their permanent employees.

I have a lot of friends from different backgrounds. Even sometimes I share with my colleagues, they are so amazed with my friends. Proud to say though I don't come from a rich family but I think I'm the most successful among them. nod.gif

Hi all saga owners.... wanna ask ask... those that bought saga sv recently, do you all receive any discounts from the SA?? do they give any free gifts as well?? I am helping my sister to ask as she is thinking of getting the saga sv as her first car... thanks notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

I think SV has no discount.
Standard gets RM 3k discount.
Exec gets RM 2k discount.

That was for Raya, now not sure.

Change bank?
I wanted to try Maybank too because my salary is credited through Maybank every month but my SA said Maybank has higher interest rate compared to others.
Not sure how true is that, you can try though. smile.gif

You can try. My Maybank2Card was invited by them, called to offer me but I didn't go for them for loan.

If not, save another month for RM 1k?

Well, I'm sorry. If it is your dad's suggestion, then ask him to help you out with RM 1k.
No point keeps forcing you that badly.

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 29 2013, 11:42 PM)
Plotong car loan is the easiest, usually can do full loan at all with any banks.

It's not entirely a bad idea for MayBank if you have all the quality as you mentioned. However, interest rate is kinda anal, other than that their approval criteria is kinda insane as well. Bear in mind, bank greatly relying on their customer's debts to make profit. Hence, if you have clean credit card record, your bank is going to hesitate to lend you more. If you have direct salary banked into the same bank, rest assured the bank know your general ledger inside out, where you spend those cash, how many standing instruction monthly fixed expanses, all within their assessment. If you ask me as a bank officer, hell I will definitely do the same like Pubic bank, approve your loan at lower sum, make u shorten repayment with higher interest rate whistling.gif

On the contrary, should you smart enough to drag 1 or 2 months of your credit card, leave some unsettle balance in the car, like 200~300 debts all the time. You'll get loan approval immediately no question asked! I'm saying you should continue service a small debt, I didn't ask you skip payment. Skip payment will kena CTOS, loan will kena reject. whistling.gif
*
Please do not encourage such thing la... sweat.gif CTOS near to bankruptcy already. sweat.gif doh.gif You forgot about the crazily high interest? He will be digging his own graveyard later.
I will never suggest people to hold their CC payment just to get loan. doh.gif Many get theirs with perfect payment record. The point is to have credit history, not necessary in debt.

and the car dealer cant accept credit card for payment ... doh.gif

The hell?!
You are now digging your own graveyard.
Let me put in a blunt way. Don't get a credit card if you cannot afford. Full stop.

oh .. actually I can afford

clean record full payment every month on time ...

just had to leave some outstanding this month due to the house loan I mentioned ...
*
I don't know what sorcery is this...
You only need to have credit history, you don't need to be in debt. doh.gif

If like this, my car loan will not be approved from the first day. I have never owed back a single cent. doh.gif
Even I checked with bank on the possibilities to get house loan, they said I shouldn't have any issue for this. I'm getting my own house next year. I'm too poor for now. cry.gif

Sorry guys. I know I'm a bit harsh. sweat.gif
Because I will never encourage people to pay minimum amount or late payment since young days.

My second sister was a classic example and she was in a great debt before. She took 5 years to pay back to my aunt because my aunt helped her to pay everything to the banks.

Now only she started to have some savings. She only had RM 100 every month for 5 years but luckily she stayed at PD home. So food and accommodation were saved. RM 100 for her petrol because she needs car to work.

I have received calls from lawyers and etc. Banks la whatever you can think of. Luckily not loan sharks.

Communication. Tak cakap mana tau. doh.gif
Though my parents know how much I earn every month, I'm being frank to them how much I can give them because I still need savings for my own house.
They are OK with RM 800 from me every month.

They are happy, I'm happy.

You are being overly harsh.

His case is unforeseen sudden expenditures that he has to meet, causing him to pay short his credit card. It's not like he overspent and end up with a mountain of debt. Even buying a car was not his idea.

I have sometimes overspent due to unexpected charges and have to spread my repayment over months, but I have no problem getting a housing loan with 2 cars under my name.

I think you need to back off a bit here.
*
If you read his posts, he can afford to pay but he didn't want to pay just to get loan. sweat.gif

Ya, I'll stay away from this thread as well. Good day.

After all F&F is not the forum I'm well-versed in.
I'm better off in Android, camera, finance and broadband section.
