I did a little more digging into the little box thing on google.

Apparently it is called a resonance chamber or a silencer used to reduce induction noise. Some also claim it improves volumetric efficiency of the intake system by providing a reservoir of air hence improving torque distribution, but it is debatable.

So.....newer FLXs are quieter then? hmm.gif

The proton service centre wrote my next service is at 6k should I follow 6k or 5k as the handbook mentioned?

He refilled semi synthetic oil for me.

As for my 5k service should I put full synthetic or still stick to semi synthetic oil as I work as sales so normally have to travel a lot.

Normal.

The CVT uses clutch instead of torque converter, so like a manual car it will roll back before the clutch closes.

So just do what you would do with a manual car, pull on the henbrek and wait for the clutch to close, then release the henbrek and go.

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

TQVM 4yr clarification & the Link provided!! thumbup.gif

Wow! That makes the new FLXs so much better tuned!

Even controlling the air flow behaviour to intake valves...?
But only if the air flow lengths are so accurately determined 2ensure it's exactly the correct length 4the blocked compressed air 2go backwards & return in time 4re-opening of the intake valves!!
Which me truly kenot help wondering if Proton engineers really did all that research, testing & design... hmm.gif
Wat do yu Bros think?

Feel it's more of reducing the intake noise?
However, as is, dun think Campro intake sound is THAT loud tho... tongue.gif

Yup, new FLX owners shld b able 2confirm if their air intakes are significantly quieter...?
