Accidentally triggered alarm and reset my radio presets, clock, and trip meter during installing VS. I tried to remove completely the positive terminal to install the VS so that the sparking wont occur. Then the alarm goes. Hehe. Actually the spark only last for awhile, which rendered my effort useless. But hey, learnt something new today. If I remove positive terminal with negative attached, alarm will be triggered.
Wonder whether ECU got reset or not when removibg battery. I think I can feel the smoothness, bit not pretry sure, maybe chemical placebo is strong. Will monitor headlamp dimming tonight

I removed the negative first, then hooked up the VS, then tighten the negative, after that i proceed with positive. So was the instruction, or should I actually do positive first
I'm going for the 1K service tomorrow. Since the following service is 10K, will semi synthetic do? Or must go for fully synthetic?

Talking about executive...I also find that a lot of people have the executive word on their name card...Almost all those suppliers, banks, shipping companies...all there write Sales Executive, Operation Executive, Marketing executive....etc..etc...all wear very nice one...long sleeves, tie, iron long pants, nice shoes, perfume, nice watch, wax or dyed hair....when I look at myself in the office toilet mirror....sigh =.=' I only wearing T-shirt or company uniform not tuck in, jeans and boots, no wax hair somemore, no wear nice watch, no perfume sometimes is sweat smell because factory very hot....

It will be off 1%+/- accurate if frm the cigarette plug. Most accurate still direct frm battery. Advice to check 2-3 regularly. VS still will affect a bit but not much, so if u had a VS it will prolong slightly longer battery life depend ur car usage.
because the VS is in parallel with the battery, thats why I thought if we measure from the battery we might measure the voltage of the VS, right?
What I means is even tought the Vs is charge or recharge, but it wont charge the car battery until 12V~

how can you tell whether the battery is charging the vs, or the vs is charging the battery?
You need to remove the whole front bumper. Then you will have access to the back of the grill. Everything is removable using a screw driver. After that you need to keep the original screw the big ones that is originally locking the silver lining that goes across the emblem if I remember...go to any ACC shop and buy the wire mesh metal one then cut the shape 1st but before you cut do measure the grill opening. There's a plastic support that you need to cut away with a saw that which is already molded onto the bumper one...
wah, lots of job also. I saw the fixture using screw mounting, but no access from front. No wonder needs to remove whole front bumper. If just remove the wing and keep the stock grill without doing the wire mesh thingy, is it possible?
