i was a xbox360 player few years back. i stopped playing when my console was having severe 3rod and i back to pc gaming. the problem in pc gaming arise when i have to keep upgrading my pc to match the games' recommended requirement especially the graphic card.

so, the question is....should i buy a xbox360 now or should i wait for xbox one? xbox one is just less than a year away.

what's ur opinion guys?

two things i hate about ps:

1. the controller. my thumb is kinda short; so it's hard to reach the analog stick at the controller. not so ergonomic IMHO. unless somebody designed a xbox-like controller at ps4 malaysia launch, i think i'll buy ps4
2. the games' price. i do not know current game price. last time i check (2 years back), the ps3 games kinda expensive. nearly rm200 per title. i think it will be the same with ps4. (or is it ps3 games as same price as xbox360 games already?)

After One is launch, M$ is committed to support the 360 for at least another 3 to 5 years so 360 is still much alive.

But for those who want the cutting edge, I think RM2k is worthwhile to spend for the XB1

Price for games are kind of on par today. Most multiplatform games cost mostly the same, but I cannot help but noticed that Xbox 360 version cost slightly less than the PS3 version, between RM10-30.

why not let the games decide for u?
Look at the XB1 launch titles, out of the 23 only a handful interests me, whereas the 360 is half the price the XB1 (based on GH's price of RM2k, games will be at RM189) and plenty of awesome games available biggrin.gif

I'd say get a brand new console. At least you're covered for warranty. 4gb console is only rm699. Hard disk can be purchased later. For the moment just use 2x 32gb usb drive which can sustain few game install.

Who knows what kind of problems has cropped inside a used unit. Right?

I'd say not for this gen. Next gen kinect that comes with Xbox One is superior in every way. But since Kinect itself can be bought for around RM200+ (depending on where you look), its cheap enough to get familiar with. Though most games are either exercise or dance-based games.

I have been trying to find a reason for me to buy Kinect for Xbox360 but I have found none >.> . Im more excited with Kinect 2.0 hope developer always do something creative with Kinect on most games so that it wont go to a waste. (dance/exercise) tongue.gif
