 How to remove rust in kettles?

My kettles and water jars are stainless steel but after a long duration of usage, rust begins to appear at the bottom. sad.gif How can i remove the rust effectively since the kettles are still in good condition?tqtq

slice 2 limes, squeeze in the water inside the kettle, no need hot water. leave overnight.

try salt thn boil it
and throw the water away...see if it works

based on my thermo pot manual, just use lemon juice, boil the water and pour out... boil plain water again... and rinse the kettle...

I think its mineral residue... I think its chemical reaction between water and steel...
