There's a few stages after the swap, initially it was just the engine swap, meter unchanged, then they changed the meter, then after joining Project D they added racing seats, roll cage & all other mods inside out. I guess this is the baru engine swap version.

I think the Initial D AE86 ver2.0 just use back the exact mold of previous AE86 special Tuned. I can't remember in initial D after its engine burnt and rebuilt with new engine it comes together with that kind of driver seats?

I tried Autoglym Polish before, not really recommended as nowadays everyone wanna save cost so the paint layer is getting thinner & thinner, polishing will remove the paint layer even further, tried on Kyosho before, can see the cloth have red paint & the spot has thinner paint, not sure where their gloss coat went...

So best is just to wax. Unless really got uneven surface, then need to use those Tamiya compound before polish & wax.

I guess best way is to clean with damped microfiber cloth, wipe dry with microfiber cloth, wax with microfiber cloth & wipe, and make sure not to apply too much wax or else the liquid gets stucked inside seam lines leaving white spots that's hard to remove.

That is how i do it on any metallic paint.

Alcohol swipe is not recommended to remove stains unless you are 90% sure it won't eat the paint up on the spot.

Then lastly put the item in dust free environment. If it's a car better put a piece of styrofoam underneath the car so the tyre barely touches the ground. never tried those tayar wax though.

QUOTE(blu3hamm3r @ Nov 25 2013, 09:10 AM)
I use both. For new added item, i will polish it then wax it. For those i already polish b4, i will wax it 3-5 months once.  If ur car paint surface very smooth, u dont nid to polish it. Just wax it to make it more shine.  blush.gif

Well, you will need to fork out a bit more for shipping charges, the custom tax as well and a bit of your time. I dunno where else to source from... many the lamboh sifu can help...

Here is a HK site I found with WW Countach but it's a Kyosho...

that is why always better to order from local sellers, support local market so it can bloom. anyway you can use EMS if you really want it fast & secure, compared small packet the cost is usually 2-3 times for EMS. but when it passes the small packet limit, EMS is only few rm more than Parcel.

buy local you get your car next day, buy from amiami have to wait 2-3 weeks unless EMS.

QUOTE(hiroka88 @ Feb 18 2014, 09:01 AM)
If u use ems I don't think the postage only cost u rm50. 2kg already cost u rm100
Somemore u still wanna take risk of custom duty

When print on sticker paper, do you print on the top side of bottom side of the sticker?

Use what printer the print can last forever? Seems office laser printer the color will come off after some time on normal A4.

QUOTE(blu3hamm3r @ Feb 24 2014, 08:32 AM)
Brother, too easy to make it actually. Just use excel, use A4 papre print out try n error, until u get the correct size. Then only use sticker paper to print out.

The Skyline still looks the best shot.

U better use detol wipes to wipe off the bottoms before you put it back into your cabinet, it might carry germs, worms & mold spores back into the cabinet & start manifesting the whole cabinet.

Unless u have dehumidifier & moth balls.
