LEH1988: Brother, I use Autogym wax to wax my model car.

I not sure brother. All the while i only apply it on metal body, never apply on plastic part. 

I use both. For new added item, i will polish it then wax it. For those i already polish b4, i will wax it 3-5 months once.  If ur car paint surface very smooth, u dont nid to polish it. Just wax it to make it more shine.

LEH1988:  Very nice photo brother but white background cant bring out the car shape. I would suggest u to shoot it with dark back ground. The feeling will totally better and different! Try it!

Black or white?

I tried Autoglym Polish before, not really recommended as nowadays everyone wanna save cost so the paint layer is getting thinner & thinner, polishing will remove the paint layer even further, tried on Kyosho before, can see the cloth have red paint & the spot has thinner paint, not sure where their gloss coat went...

So best is just to wax. Unless really got uneven surface, then need to use those Tamiya compound before polish & wax.

I guess best way is to clean with damped microfiber cloth, wipe dry with microfiber cloth, wax with microfiber cloth & wipe, and make sure not to apply too much wax or else the liquid gets stucked inside seam lines leaving white spots that's hard to remove.

That is how i do it on any metallic paint.

Alcohol swipe is not recommended to remove stains unless you are 90% sure it won't eat the paint up on the spot.

Then lastly put the item in dust free environment. If it's a car better put a piece of styrofoam underneath the car so the tyre barely touches the ground. never tried those tayar wax though.
