all these server downtime, does it make the game terrible???

Lag killed me & my party when fighting Titan boss. but nothing serious.. we prevailed in the end.. after about 15 attempts.

I read somewhere here that according to the developer mentioning that there's too many people(& some people played too long) logging in that can causes the whole server to crash. So they decided to restrict access to prevent it from crashing. If I understand it correctly... 9pm-12am cannot login.

Wow I didn't know this game is that popular until so many people cannot play. Remind me of the traffic jam in KL... so many cars & bikes, sometimes walking faster & safer.

I think the free beta giveaway(PS3) really did help sales.

This morning took me around 1/2 hour for the 38lvl dungeon to setup a team.. yesterday around 8-9pm play halfway through got kicked out/disconnected. Now cannot login at all...

You have to wait / enter the dungeon to make progress. You can't skip it. You have to pass a few of these dungeons at least once. Some of the dungeon quest is part of the main story/quest.

eh? Same thing happened to me just a few minutes ago.

(for those who played FF11) would you recommend to those who played FF14ARR but haven't played FF11... play FF11??
Since it's so old already is it any good on today's standard?

I was able to login everyday... but with some difficulty sometimes... just keep trying. Usually around 1am-12pm can login no problem
