I don't know why are people even explaining why we can't login. We know we've overload their capacity. We know how the servers work and it can't accommodate all of us.

So, explain why users are not allowed to complain? People know the issues already and they have all the rights to complain. Yes, this happens to almost every game but seeing that Square is a big company and already has previous MMORPG experience, people have high expectations from them. I would side Square if they're some new or indie developers but they're not

Users will not listen to all the techy explanation like data center or how many racks they have bla bla. You expect someone who bought his plane ticket and end up can't fly because not enough planes? Of course the passengers will rage especially when other passengers tell them "Eh, why you so noob buy the ticket fly at peak hour? Be like me la, buy ticket fly at 4AM"

I believe this is the situation we're in and this is a build-up rage from the screw ups since the start.

IP restriction to purchase game--->confusing account management--->3 codes just to play a freaking game--->people at last manage to figure out how to play and then end up can't play--->after adding servers to their IDC still cannot login--->leads to players quitting even before paying for 1st month subscription

Square has lots of damage control work to do or else this will turn out to be another hardcore MMORPG where only those remain are those who are FF series loyal fans

Complaining doesn't help and trying to explain on Square's behalf will only make things worse. Being sarcastic make things even worse as i've seen some forumer's replies here are real sarcastic lol

Just giving my perspective on the current situation and to share why some people are really frustrated over it. I consider myself mild already cause i playing other games at the same time but try to imagine those who everyday want to play this game

EDIT: Also just sharing that FF14:ARR is a nice game imo but because of all these issues, i lost my confidence in them the second time. First was the failure of FF14
