There are loads more function and dungeons to unlock along the main quests, keep doing the questsline.

Today the FFXIV service will be going down for maintenance to add new worlds to help support a larger number of players. And as previously occurred with the game’s original launch back in September 2010, Square Enix is granting players a little extra game time as compensation for the recent issues. Current players as will be granted an extra 7 days of game time as compensation for the recent issues. Additionally, players that register a game code before September 9, 2013, will also be granted the additional game time.
I have just registered a FF14 1.0 code and have only seen 30 days trial period. The 7 days extra trial period is missing.

Anyone has any idea on how to get hold of the extra 7 days?

Moreover, is creating character doable now?

Log onto a different character on another realm (I like to use a JP realm since they're easier to get into during our timezones). Then get back onto your main.

Your character is still "in game," causing the error. You need to force it to despawn by getting on a different char.

for me i think too many 'worlds'.. anyone wanna explain why they need so many worlds?
