QUOTE(efaceninja @ Nov 29 2014, 08:06 PM) 1. XM2 is a eco tyre already. other choices like, BS EP200, Yoko AE01 2. or you can take the Hankook Kinergy EX, the factory tyre by perodua for Axia. i believe this is part of the component that helps Axia to achieve EEV status (besides their ULTRA high manufacture recommended tyre pressure at 37 psi for a seg A car lols). Axia's tyre size is same as Myvi's aka 175/65R14 Got silverstone synergy m3 when i got my axia. Rolling noise noticably loud compared to ecopia 200.

QUOTE(efaceninja @ Jan 3 2015, 07:01 PM) WHAT??? Axia is supposed to come with Hankook Kinergy EX! did the perodua dealer keep the Kinergy EX and resell later, and give you a lousy tyre?? how did you know what it has less contact surface? how did you measure? well, that actually sounds logically correct. you found it has less contact surface, meaning its rigidity (in maintaining a round shape under the car's weight) is better than yoko A-Drive, this means less Rolling Resistance, which means better FC. Which, its what an eco tyre supposed to be. Dont think they kept it lol. Prolly follow batch.

Have tried pumping the ecopia 200 up to 36psi and noted that it is only slightly more quiet compared to synergy m3...next will try to lower the synergy m3 pressure to see whether there are any differences
