career prospect is not bad, from exec>senior>manager>associate director>director>head
but it's really required hard work & able to satisfied client then only u can stay long there.. or else.. quite stressful when can't close project on time, client too much request, other dept not giving cooperation, and budget budget budget

anyway, who is the manager interview u? done any test?

Research Exec... depends on whether you're on the qualitative or quantitative side. If I'm not mistaken, they divide into 2 teams. For research house - overall most of them work late and sometimes on weekend as well. Highly pressure work environment but you learn a lot from it. So if you're working there, make the most out of it.

consulting is qualitative or a seperate entity?
any story for the consulting side?
*
LOL you need to ask IPSOS during the interview. Different research house do it differently. Some are very large so their consultants work/ are responsible for different things.

I suppose consulting would be more on servicing the client right? Meaning after the research report is out, you will need to present the analysis and findings to your client. Again, depending on the structure of the company, you might be responsible for both quanti and quali side or on either one. Refer/ check your job description. Otherwise you can always give the HR a call to clarify.

Never join the online team, especially Quotation team. High workload and poor management. The manager will push everything/responsibilities to you and leave you in a very bad situation.

omg I should have referred this page earlier. The same shit happening, now it's worst. They give you more work and treat you like shit. Increment is a mere 2 digit, cant even keep up with inflation. If you have a suggestion to improve but not align with the manager/directors thinking, they will blacklist you and your hopes for promotion is gone. It's worst if you dont bootlick or suck your boss balls, everyday being verbally abused / being ignored / undervalued and overworked.

I am so much happier now having to leave such toxic place. If you are looking for a place that respect employees, value employees and reward employees, this is not the place. The chinaman bos, he really doesn't care about anyone except himself, everyone is replaceable, if there is credit to take it's due to his good leadership, but if something goes wrong, it's everyone else incapable.

My wife just interviewed here and it was a horrible experience for her. She was interviewed by their director Eric and he consistently give sexist, irrelevant and harassing criticism to her. She is currently pregnant with our baby and she is applying for a contract role. This director told her that she should be staying home and not working because working mom's are bad mom, not doing their duties to their kids. WTF is with this comment. If don't want to hire a pregnant lady, just say so. The company is only as good as their top management employee. There is no one that we can bring it up to, so we are sharing it here in hope for those moms/mom-to-be applying for a job here can learn how corrupt this company management is.

To IPSOS, you do know that the greatest asset is your employee, my condolences to you that you could not hire my wife. She is a hardworking, educated, determined and resourceful employee who will be working for GFK starting next month.

All the best to your wife and thanks for feedback here so that we know this company is something we should look away in future.
