Hello all please help me,i just broke my ipad mini screen and now the screen is broken but the ipad mini screen is still functioning and can be used,can be touch,can be used to do everything . Just the glass is broken only.

I am planning to bring my ipad mini to lowyat shop to repair it. I assume the price would be around RM320. I just dont want to send it to apple service centre because its too expensive. Would like to ask if those glass that i get it from normal shop to repair it, would my ipad screen become unsensitive anymore or will the screen have any difference with the original glass? Please help me

Best and safer if you bring to authorized apple shop. Brought my iPhone to lowyat to fix home button and those bloody con fks switch my screen with some fake shit.

Up to you where you want to repair. But bear in mind if you want to repair at normal shop cause they can use fake parts. Do you buy apple care protection plan? because once you repair on shop that not authorized by apple. If anything happen again and you want to claim warranty from apple. The warranty is void because you already repair your ipad at place that was not unauthorized by apple. So if you bought apple care protection plan you cant claim already even your warranty is 2 years.

ASC cost around rm900 to replace the screen. My advice is, it's good that you invest in a protective case and sp to protect it from drop n broke the screen.

I did that on my iPhone 5 and now waiting for my stocks for iPad mini too.
