hey guys, i'm new here. i smoke cigarettes, both ready made and roll my own ones. when i'm rolling, i prefer macbaren. period. my all time favorite is the macbaren vanilla and macbaren original. the macbaren pandan is quite nice also, it has a kind of sweet, soft aromatic taste just like pandan. the macbaren rose, ugh...i cannot take it. personally i think it is to harsh. lol. as for the rolling paper the usual ones i get is Smoking brand. easy to get from kamelah. but sometimes when i can go to cyberjaya (i stay in shah alam), i will get OCB, much nicer i think.

anyone know where to buy OCB or job crystal papers in bulk? i prefer the long ones (king size), because i roll using hands only. when rolling longg ciggy, i think the taste is nicer than a short one because the smoke pass through more tobacco.. lol. i don't know whether it's true or not, but it is my preference.

is it legal to discuss clove cigarettes here?

yep....tobacco burn nicely if the burning is slow and steady, so longer stick is better too
but 1 thing i dont like the longer stick, is because the filter not really can stand for it...hehe

It is true that you get more flavour when the smoke passes through more tobacco.
Anyway, I used to love OCB until I discovered RAW. It's untreated paper so the colour is brownish instead of white. Adds colour to certain flavours. I like to use RAW paper with Original and Aromatic Choice.

Anyone who is interested to learn about pipe smoking and cigar smoking, I suggest you visit The EmberShoppe at the Curve in PJ. They will advice and provide information. They also train first time pipe smokers who buy their pipes. You can learn how to smoke a single 3gm pot for 50-60 minutes and enjoy it all the way. It is a whole different experience from rolling tobacco and a whole different universe from cigarettes.

If it is your first pipe purchase, they will teach you how to pack, light, smoke and maintain your pipe so that you get the most out of it. If you are adding on to your collection, it won't hurt to improve your smoking technique. I smoke a standard pot for 40-60 minutes with one light.

Starter pipes range from RM300-RM500. Anything less is a complete waste of time.
If you want to add to a current collect, try the Crown series from Winslow or if you have the budget, I highly recommend Peter Heeschen. I have to Heeschen pipes and I am still looking forward to getting another.

IT IS NOT THE SAME AS SMOKING CIGARETTES!!!
And we can tell a show-off smoker a mile away from the way they hold the cigar and to the way they smoke it.

hey guys! how much does a good quality starter pipe cost? and where to get it in malaysia? i got a question, what do you put inside the front part of the pipe? is it the tobacco leaves which sells in packs? thanks

hehehe, try look for KK super mart (like 7 11), that day i go inside to get filters, i saw OCB paper.

Hmmm but these days whenever i smoke OCB paper, i got some light headache. donno why.

I prefer short and slim filter. Short becos more control. Normally smoke a bit then go work. if wan smoke more then lit another lor. Slim filter gives more kick. regular filter like more smoother but i prefer a lil bit kick. hehe.

Hello guys. I'm kinda new to rolling my own cigarettes but been smoking for a while. Do you guys have any good tobacco shops to suggest in Ipoh for roll your own cigarettes?

Hey everyone just started rolling today with a pack of Drum I like the taste so far, but it does have that stinging sensation on my lips which is sorta irritating.

Any suggestions on what I should buy next when I am done with these?

I am also using kamaya mini filters, i re-use them a few times and sometimes even take the orange ''filter'' out because the main reason I use them is to prevent tobacco from entering my mouth rather than the health reasons.

Does anyone know where i can get coal flavoured filters? or is there any way to infuse that flavor into the cigarette because my all time fav ciggies are marlboro touch which has that unique flavor to them

Hi everyone, my old time favorite is Golden Virginia (Yellow Packed). From the first time i roll until now.
The funny thing is when i just moved in to Shah Alam, I went to 7e, KK Mart, Tobacco Shop in Empire Subang,
Tesco and Giant to search for Golden Virginia, they didn't have it.. Until one day i went to this kedai mamak and i
saw Golden Virginia (yellow and green packed). Its just like i found a gold that day,haha.. So yeah, Golden Virginia +
Mascotte Regular Filter + Harvest Rolling Paper. When im lazy, i just hand roll it with out the filter, taste much2 better..

Hmmm... I'm a heavy ciggy smoker, my brother in law is tryin to get me smoking cigars but i dunno dosnt appeal to me. I also do rollies at times, but is a hassle, so i figure pipes might be the way to go for me. I would really like to find out more about the pipes and do's and son't on how to smoke a pipe.

Any recommended outlets that you guys could intro me to? I know there is a shop in empire mall selling pipes and tabacco's where i bought a sisha / bong and yeah i'm pot smoker too when i'm back in malaysia, but that's another story lolx.

you can try the brand Big Ben, Chacom, or Peterson
pricing is around RM230-350, rarely exceeding rm500
however if you are quite rich, do try Dunhill's The White Spot
pipe cleaner is a must, while tamper and filter are personal preference
