Crazy idea occured to me. What about having a sorta Olympic like competition?

Events:
Target shooting - sniper weapons,pistols,assault rifles no unlocks.
Track events - Spec Ops only. How you use the "Shift" key is very important.
Tank Gunnery - The target that has the lowest Hp or is destroyed with one shot wins.

UPDATES:
1) the Plane Grip contest - see who can stay on the plane fuselage/wings the longest while the plane takes-off and flies.

2) the Parachute Hazard contest - Get a bunch of soldiers to parachute from a high starting point, and as they come floating down, see how many can you collide into with your plane! The ultimate survival trial for paratroopers! Aerial roadkills!

3) the One-Man Heli Army battle - take sole control of a skycow, gather in numbers at a designated location and height in the open sky, and then battle away with the sole occupant in the skycow jumping from pilot position: keeping the heli in control, to gunner and etc positions: trying to use weapons to bring down opposing helicopters! The ultimate aerial multi-tasking combat joke!

4) the C4-propelled Vehicle contest - stick all of your C4s to the back of your various vehicles in contest, drive to top speed to a ramplike structure, and press BOOM! See how high/far can you propell your flying vehicle! The moar assisting team members pitch in their C4s and help with the well-timed detonation, the merrier!

5) the Grounded Plane race - fighter planes race to their finish lines! Only not in the air. Do it on the roads. The absolute challenge for jetjocks to test their throttle and maneuvering skills! Don't hit the trees... or KaBlooiee!

6) the Edge of Map Buggy Race - ever wondered how the ground terrain is really like at the very edges of the map? Super hazardous! Unseen bumps and holes! Race your buggies along the map edge and try to get to the end without blowing up on the way due to increasing vehicle damage! Engineers recommended for longer race survival.

Grenade throwing event:
throw the furthest and hit the target wins

Human tossing event:
Spec Ops, place their C4 at the target, see how far the target is tossed

Human tossing event 2:
Spec Ops, place their C4 at the target, see how high the target goes
or whoever passes the blackhawk wins points

Scouting - Using sniper class and detect everything that you see.

EverD suggestion:

Skeet shooting. Get sniper to shoot ppl dropping off a rooftop.

or ppl can paradrop from a blackhawk and see how many sniper can take out

Wah, another crazy freestyle idea-based thread on BF2 fun. I like it.

A good idea for this fun BF2 group activity. We shouldn't limit our interaction to serious matches alone, let's partake in common fun as well!

Well, I prefer challenges that involves the vehicles of BF2 mostly. Here's a few of my suggestions:

its some stupid bf2 bug.

Will add these suggestion to first post. Poll will be held soon to decide time, place,map etc.

And i was actually thinking of C4 chucking, replacing shot-putt with mine throwing, and replacing disc throwing with grenade throwing.

And some comments:

-The human tossing wouldn't be feasible. The person has to stand directly over the C4 in order for the blast to have full effect. Timing the blast would work either even if the same person runs from teh same location and blows him/her self up. And how are we going to measure the height???

- I quite like the swimming contest as sugegsted by Scaygoo, but will the person lose health over time? Spending too much time will cause one to lose HP in BF1942. Can someone please ty this out in BF2 before we go ahead with this idea?

oh, how bout Track and Field?

all events in one..
i wonder if we can make a map specially for a Track and Field,

starts from Marathon,
reach checkpoint
jump into a car and drive
reach checkpoint
get out and swim
reach checkpoint
get onto heli and fly high, and parachute to the target
reach checkpoint
snipe a moving target, 3 kills, and you're through
reach checkpoint
*etc*

Good idea... and the jump throw can be circumvented. hehehehehe

I swim alot at Wake Island This one time saw a enemy specs op swimming toward the Essex, i try to rammed him wif the boat bummer no damage at all.
