yeah read about that, and there is some suggest that is deleting the game and it will enable you to digital DL it. i had not tried it yet, cause updating the patch took me around 3hrs. not sure if i'm going to go through that whole process again if it does not work.

hi I tried to create a character and when I wanted to choose the world it says I can't create the character on the particular server. When I checked status the servers are alright. Hmm?

what particular server are you saying and have you check if the servers are full or not.

Also do you have a character previously on that server? Are you Entry Level subscriber or Standard level subscriber?

I've successfully connect to Yojimbo Server, my friend had to use my login to get me into the world but it isn't the character that I wanted. I tried to load the one that I created but failed argh. This is my first time playing.

Now I'm facing another problem.

I am still on the 14 days trial, and when I joined my friend's party I can't see them and vice versa.

So, i can't download the client using inactive account?is there a way to dload full client before i active my account?

Need active account. sorry. Other way is to keep an eye of free weekend than mayhap you are able to do so.

are they infront of you? im not sure if there is a limitation of such thing for a free trial.

they are at the same place to meet up but we cant see each other.

is your card ok? other than that i really dont know.. maybe some glitch during installation etc.

Is your character in the same server? as from what i experience during my trial, i can meet up with my friend, and see them.

Is it still recommended that I buy the EU version of FFXIV: ARR? Or should I go for the NA version? Because most of the time, I tend to notice that Malaysia is kinda lumped together with the US.

Also, it's 50% off on steam. Unavailable in our region. Haih.

Also, can anyone point where to buy the game from? I don't have a non-Malaysian debit/credit card. So purchasing from the SE store is out of the question.

up to you really. is easier to find EU time card here then US time card. And for SQEX no... Malaysia is lump together with the EU for Square Enix. Same as Australia who usually lump with US, is now lump with EU instead for Square Enix.

I guess so. I was so excited when I saw it was 50% off on steam... Sigh.. Not sure how, but a friend managed to get it 50% off when FFXIV came on steam. Very strange.

Hi, anyone has problem to pay with their credit card lately? i was trying to pay for my character transfer but kept getting error 401. Before that it was ok for me to use my credit card to pay for 180 days subscription though.

Ultimate game card is retired as well, i really cannot find a way to transfer my character now.

I'm not sure if I'm at the right place to ask. There's EU and NA version from the infos, but what the servers, tonberry and masamune is.. JP's server, right? If so, will getting EU version of the game let me play in JP's server?
EDIT: So should I follow the info to register o EU or should I have my account on JP?

Yes, as you can play in any server really.
The only differences between JP, US & EU version is the payment option and which S-E website you need register.

If you're in Malaysia, it's recommended you get EU version because its game card is easier to find here.
Also only EU accepts our cards for some reason, didn't try paying through steam wallet yet though.
