Z1 Unboxing!

Okay , not really unboxing after watching it lol. He just took out the phone and then explained about the features and stuffs lol.

Oh wait , what about the rumoured 4k recording? Looks like there isn't one , if not it will be definitely mentioned in the conference.

Anyway , if anyone have the time to watch 30 minutes of the person playing with the Z1 go ahead but be warned it isn't in English. Looks very snappy with the snapdragon 800!

Does anyone think that the bottom bezel is a little too thick for a top tier phone compared to the predecessor ? Maybe that explains the larger 3000mah battery. Other than that , the back looks stunning , only the front looks a bit mid range-ish look which might turn off some of the potential buyers.

Is it really that bad? I think it's still at least a little better than the previous Z from the looks of it. Still doesn't explain why would they not use a better screen for their flagship device though.

Looks like a bigger brother to the ZR . Z is so much better looking

Hmm , just noticed that it's quite similar to the Z Ultra , maybe they wanna follow the same design? Just like what Samsung always do.

Haha , well some people would still use the one that comes with the device itself. Nokia in-ear ones are quite good actually , quite deep bass . Only thing that it mostly doesn't support other devices.




Great news for Xperia Z owners , the Z1's speaker is a tonne better! But still the One's boomsound is quite a bit nicer.

That same channel does have a comparison of screens between the One and Z1 , he said it is very much better than the previous Z but slightly worst than the One.

Hmm , but Samsung and Nokia phones I've used have the simplest I think , just hold down the power button for 8 Secs or so to reboot the phone.

Hmm , do they see how much traffic you be able to get normally in a day or so , in order to provide you with a review unit?

No idea why would Sony want to have the shatter proof screen installed. Unless it "might" absorb some shock from certain drops? Other than that , I don't see a point other than some people wanting a naked screen and then ended up scratching up the sheet itself.

Also , Sony not wanting to provide details about the type of glass used , really (Yes , I know it's been said to be dragontrail and so on , but at the very least we want a official confirmation)
