4K recording isn't such a big deal to me. I don't have the television or anything yet anyway so not a big deal. I'll wait for that from the next flag ship

to me viewing angle doesnt matter much since im watching my phone screen directly in front not from like a specific angle

so z1's panel is worst than z ultra's? i know some tech reviewers are quite content with it.. if it's that bad i'll have to reconsider 

Apple just released a phone with a f/2.2 aperture. so iphone managed to fit in a bigger lense in a slimmer profile.

Thx! Judging from the photos and videos, it looks like the display quality is sitting in the middle of XZ and XZU. After seeing XZU I thought Sony has decided to move forward..  The viewing angle is somehow important for me, hahah, as I always leave my phone on my working desk and check the time or notifications from time to time, without picking up the phone. Before this I never thought its an issue, but when I jumped from Note 2 to XZ, it was a pain! All I see is the washout display until I pick it up and look at it straightly. I don't wear any watch, so I check time using phone, just imo. 

yeah... for phone especially with flaps, i really highly recommend to get the dock, place it in the most common place u'll be.

in fact i got so used to the dock, i now find it tedious to use cable to charge handphone. each time my wife ask me to help charge her iphone, i find it so mafan, have to grab the cable, make sure it's in the right position and plug it in... using dock was like just slide in the phone

and less software update..with not much of custom ROM

My experience is, always buy popular model...

Wow , why isn't there any included earphones? Looks like a growing trend of not including one nowadays.

So means possible getting a crap TN/VA screen when buying first badge Z1?

And a lot review/ preview already out and destroy Sony Z1 panel.

Sony did a big wrong decision by using back those old TN/VA panel.

If the source is legit, it is really risky buying first batch Z1.

Haha, you will lose your waiting game if you do that to techs. By the time you wanted to buy z2, z3 will be around the corner..

i waited for a camera button with a measurable internal storage. this has come with the Z1. the better battery and the latest S800 adds a major advantage to my consideration as well.

i love the idea of stop waiting and just use it....it ends with the Z1.
