If Sony detects all your caps white paper turn red (they is a detector paper in port).

Then warranty void.

Void. A lot argue about that, but Sony is void you. This can't really said Sony not responsible or cheat as Sony Center also can't assure is it the unit defective or human error.

Unless you can proof in-front of them it is hardware defective, then probably you get back the warranty.

I do play under water for my Z, after that, I feel.. nah... not really going to use under water. I never put in water for my later Tablet Z and Z Ultra.

It is not that useful as you though. Some more now the Z Ultra screen will get mad even water drop on it, the screen sensitivity make water drop as input... 

Just give water proof as extra add-on but not a daily use feature.
