yeah they are coming after a year of they acquired Ericsson and startup with XPeria Z/ZL until now.. MAKE BELIEVE!! LOL

I was comparing both phones with my current Note 2s.

What I liked on the Note 3 over my Note 2:

Higher PPI
Slimmer, Lighter, Faster
Brighter screen

What I deemed unnecessary:
4k video

What I am doubting:
Can the battery life trump my current Note 2 with the 100mAH extra juice.
Will the dev community will be as large as the N7100 (N7105 is pathetic), if possible like the S/S2/S3/S4

What I liked on the Z1 over my Note 2:
Shutter button
1/2.3" CMOS sensor vs 1/3.2" CMOS censor
Awesome screen (as proved by the XZU)

What I am doubting:

Nothing fancy me on Z1

• Screen too small, I cannot accept 5" phone already.
  
• The bezel look crazy big, it look big than Z Ultra or Z a lot.
  
• Not slimmer like Z or Z Ultra.
  
• I never put high hope in Sony Camera.

Why does Sony always screw up when it comes to the screen?

AMOLED color is too vivid, it really uncomfortable if u compare to other screen panel.

Yup! Really disappointing on Sony move!

this site show that ZU and Z1 both got same battery and why ZU with large screen can last longer a bit than Z1 that small screen?

so far ZU good with large screen and better view angle while Z1 good with flash, camera button, software and bigger speaker right?

Then for Z vs Z1, is that anything Z better than Z1?

I know Z1 better than Z, just want to know is that anything that Z better than Z1? eg. ZL got infra-red while Z don't had that.

I feel Sony is playing trick, Sony give you wow on 1st Triluminos display and let you thought Triluminos is that great, but after that, use back low quality panel. I gonna said Z1 is low quality panel, some might just said who are viewing angle. But in reality, IPS panel is the more costly where TN panel is the cheapest one.

If real unit out is behave like that, I am going to conclude Sony is just gimmicks it own Triluminos, it just a name but show nothing.

Z Ultra panel is great but I don't feel what it mention Triluminos has wider RGB color, they is a reviewer even mention it and the RGB wide is kind of similar as Z. What make Z Ultra panel great is the use of non TN or VA panel.

But if Sony decide use back TN or slightly better VA panel in Z1, Sony just screw it own Triluminos name.

Nope, it is so obvious definitely different type panel as Z Ultra.

The great viewing angle in Z Ultra is not really good in Z1.

And actually the screen a bit too bright where show the symptom of not a IPS panel also, more like a VA or even a worst TN panel.

But a lot upgrading it as well, also a lot waiting to change to Z1 after knowing Z Ultra screen is awesome right? hehe...

Now see how well Z1 on sales.

I believe it not going to sell as hot as Z anymore.

• Better camera - maybe yes maybe not.
  
• Better spec - this is the only solid point for buying now.
