Playback some downloaded avi movie cannot open, pc will hang or rename it

i was complete download some avi movie...but is seem like cannot open or to play it..coz the pc will hang?Did any guest out there can fix this problems? rclxub.gif

no..it's not a software that fix the avi file..it is a media player..a must have one i must say..it can play almost anything..well..as far as i've tried..incomplete media file, damage media file..just try it

Yea use DIVX player for avi format file.
But AVI format file most heavy movie type cz its suport HD movie..

Hmm... u can try VLC media player. It can play any video format including cue/bin. I think VLC is the best player.

If the problem still occurred, i suspect that avi is corrupted smile.gif

i tried the VLC media player ald...and the movie also cannot be open???so how...my pc is installed the lastest klcodec pack lol

Maybe file corrupted during download but very unlikely if using bittorrent.Try check the codec it used using GSpot (K-Lite codec pack have this).Select the file, Open with GSpot.You will see this kind of screen.This is a part of troubleshooting only.

happened to me with bulk downloads , ie ... in a 26 file torrent , dling a few at a time ...

It seems your screenshot have the codecs loaded but somehow cannot play the file.GSpot cannot fix the file.It just check the codec in that movie to see if your PC have the appropriate codec for playback.

*Sigh...*

If the file cannot be play with most of the player, then possible file is corrupted.That's my theory only ...

ok, ur file is a DivX file, now try to click on the video boxes below, starting from 1 till 3 and see which codec does your system use to decode the video

if the video can't be decoded, number 3 will be blank

 

Change to:

0.0158sec    0.51    6 queries    GZIP Disabled
