1. Redeker's Plan
It was a cold calculating plan, but the only logical one really. The infection was just like an Ebola plague but the situation was so dire that instead of quarantining the infected, the only possible way to survive would be to seclude the uninfected from the infected.
Instead of spreading their resources too thin, they just had to save those they deemed valuable to the survival of the human race. Sounds cruel, put humans in a difficult situation and you can see how easily the veneer of civility can be stripped away.
2. Yonkers
Sounds funny and f*ck*d up, but these type of situations happens frequently in real life. The Brigadier Generals are those that fought the wars based on older technology and a different era. That coupled with the regimented training and group think in the military results in most Generals to be quite orthodox and unable to adapt to the fluid situation on the battlefield, which could result in disastrous situations.
World War Z was really a great book. Hope the movie can live up to about 33% of the book. Wish they had gone for a mini-series instead.
What's ur favourite World War Z story ?, not the movie but the book
