Hi all,

I would like to get an NAS, just for downloading videos and playing then through TV. So I guess my setup would be connecting my router to both the NAS and TV via LAN cable right?

I'm currently looking at Synology DS216play, DS215+, DS216+, and DS415+. Originally I thought of getting the DS415+, but now that I think of it, I don't need 4 bays, 2 bays is enough for me.

Also, DS415+ has much better processor which attracts me, because I'm afraid that I won't have enough power playing 1080p videos.

So what is good enough for me to just play 1080p videos? Are any of the 2 bays good enough? Please recommend.

Hi guys, I'm a total noob at NAS matters, can anyone suggest me a 4-bay with budget of RM1500 and below?

And I have a stupid question here, can I have PHP and MySQL installed on the NAS?
