I think beginners (like me) should stop counting numbers and focus on muscle contraction. I know numbers are very motivational but it could all be just ego you're lifting.
Power lifter lifts numbers, bodybuilder contracts muscles.
how fast can you increase lifting weight?, just sharing :)
