the 2x axle does not spin... maybe u can test it and modify it directly when u build the MKII

probably not too hard to make the 42009 motorise... there's quite a lot of space near the wheels/truck part, but it may not able to fit in the XL motor...

i don't have the weight info for the 42009... sorry, can't help with this...

BTW, found sets that come with XL motor from brickset and only 4 sets with this motor...
and i'm quite interest with the 4958: Monster Dino and 8275: Motorized Bulldozer drool.gif
shocking.gif the bulldozer come with 4 motor with it, probably the most motor set hmm.gif

but i think these sets will be very expensive now so maybe get the XL motor instead icon_rolleyes.gif

hopefully there will be remote control and XL motor technic sets next year thumbup.gif
*
yeah, will improvise Technic builds like what you did. thumbup.gif

4958 I'm not that sure. 8275 is expensive, I think RM1k or higher. I BL the parts for my build and it's not cheap either.
XL motor can buy separately wink.gif Lego S@H also got. Remote control also.
Only the L-motor and Servo-motor not available in parts, unless BL it.
I got my XL motor more than half year ago. Not sure current price and our RM weakening yawn.gif
I may need another 3-5 XL motor for my plan/mod sweat.gif

We professional use a brick-detector to scour the land for bricks and the most probable locations are usually in kindergarten and playgrounds where kids have tendency to drop them.

For beginners... we suggest www.bricklink.com for your lego parts need.

haha laugh.gif my modification is very simple and straight forward... and most ideas come from forumers here (i think mostly from cute_boboi)

the 8275 really expensive, just buy the XL motor and remote control is even better...

well, can't wait for your build and modification of the 42009 biggrin.gif
remember to share some pictures here icon_rolleyes.gif
maybe the B model also not bad to modify... maybe RC both trucks brows.gif

Sure icon_rolleyes.gif

RC both trucks ? LOL ... cannot lah. I'm not tycoon or got unlimited money cheat code. Can't afford multiple 42009 sets
sweat.gif

Will be very busy with work until early Oct. Boss already preparing plans and I'm clearing leave also. sweat.gif sweat.gif
But will have time in LYN tongue.gif maybe not enough time for more mod or build.

Maybe I take pic & video of my 8043 mod, follow from internet taiko mod. Not my own mod. sweat.gif

Mad scientist not really priority coz imo hes not really a monster~  laugh.gif
plus i got the cmf version so maybe can skip the MF version~

almost complete makes me wanna get the remaining MF fig mummy, frankenstein and butler frankie~  sweat.gif
I prefer butler Frankenstein better as its looks more like from the Addams Family. The MF version looks ok, like the classic horror film oppose to his cousin from CMF, maybe it's because of the skin color..
