Wow surprisingly no one is replying on this thread. No more samurize user?

Anyway, I get the CPU usage, all the temperature, empty recycle bin, and my media player done.

Problem left are :

I'd configure some shortcut in my desktop and it's working. My question is when I click on it, the window will open in small window. I wanted to set it as maximize (like how we can set it in ObjectDock). Is this setting possible in samurize?

How do I configure album cover for Windows Media Player? My album cover is not downloading from the web and only stick to one album cover.

uhuhuh. datz an OUCH!!! the thang is, i neva personally used WMP to listen to music so, any integration of it wif Samurize, I neva attempted b4. the same thing as the popup window.. U myt wanna browse thru Samurize's official forum here

I am looking for a vertical theme that can display all my PC info such as memory usage, network usage, HDD usage, CPU/GPU temps. Also weather if possible but not that important. And any other important system stats.

So far, I found best software to use is samurize and avedesk. I would prefer samurize cause it runs better.

I am looking for a theme or dock or whatever you call it that is suitable for dark windows theme. I have browse around samurize site but there are so much things there that I am confused. Would appreciate if someone could tell me what kind of plugins to download from samurize to create what I want. I see some people install like 4-5 plugins which I dunno why.

So, any theme gurus out there can help? Even using samurize theme is a little dodgy for me. So much options. How do those people customize those gorgeous looking themes anyway?

Hmm thanks for the reply r4ydc24. I've browse through the forum for weeks, followed their tutorial, but the album cover is still not working. About maximizing the window, I don't seems to found any.

abubin, if I am not mistaken vertical theme could be done using TextFX plugin included in PluginPak.

Yes the best software will definitely be samurize and avedesk as for now. Preferring to use which one depends on how you want to customize your desktop and which one will make your life easier and of course, the theme that you wanted.

Actually you can change just any theme to dark theme or to get any colour you want. The point is, with the program you can change the colour of the font, and themes come with skins, where you can easily adjust your desire colour in photoshop.

There must be a reason installing plugin. Different plugin generate different functions.

Being a beginner is always dodgy. But at the same time that is how you learn too, of course if you're lucky enough to have somebody to guide and willing to do research by yourself.

Since samurize is flexible enough and could do just anything that you want (depends), so creating your very own theme which met your satisfaction is isn't difficult at all with some sacrifices of time and concentration.

abubin, I wud suggest u to download dat TextFX plugin s well.. I tried using it last year n it works as I expected.. however, there is an nitty gritty issue of anti-aliasing on the text especially when we place it at 45 degrees.. not sure if i'm d only one who sees the text as being a lil bit jagged... givvit a try n do update us with it.

bluesky87, personally, i neva bumped into any tutorials regarding ya popup window feature (resizing).. earlier, I only tried to make my "my computer" pop up from the samurize-made link... it popped up in a standard size (not full screen)...

izzit juz me or itz true dat equalizer is not the same as progress bar... r u referring to the winamp song progress bar?

Equalizer is the bar that jumps up and down according to your music rhythm (sp) (some are fake) while progress bar to keep track of the song's length

isnt the thing that jumps up and down call spectrum ...

Mine work, as long as the album cover is shown in WMP, it will show in Samurize. Make sure that you rename the album cover as Folder.jpg in the mp3 folder.

dowload Spectrum By Spawnie. open it with samurize config panel and try to godek2 with it ... i also learnt how to make spectrum from that config

can anybody suggest any site dat can host download for such long period? uhuhuhuhu....

ftp://ftp.tm.net.my/incoming - open using folder explorer and copy there... dont open using IE
