920 will definitely get 8.1, and small updates after 8.1.
The next big one after 8,.1, like, 8.2, 8.3, etc, whatever they will call it, might not hit the 920. If it does, maybe some features are skimped out. You know, like what apple does for their older phones, they still update them but some features of the newest updates are removed. That isnt a bad idea to me.

But still, you need to change a smartphone latest also after it reached 3 years old. For me it's 2 years cycle. Im juz a college student. If i start working ady maybe i can get new model almost yearly. I love gadgets in general.

I only buy flagship phones, then use it for 2 years. I bought the 920 for RM 1999 late last year on launch day itself. I love being one of the earliest in the country to own the best thing on the market for a specific phone brand.
But the main reason is because, phones get outdated too fast; even flagship phones only have 6-9 months of time to own the 'flagship' title before another model takes that title. I would like to enjoy a flagship model for as long as i could before a successor model appears.

HTC spams a lot of higher spec phones; as for Samsung, i separate the S-series and Note-series as 2 different tiers of devices aimed at different customers, so it's actually 9 or 10 months before a new flagship appears (instead of 6 months). iPhone only 1 model a year except this year.

1520 may be too big for some but i believe Nokia went a jump to 6 inch to go against Note 3 and One Max. The 'normal' sized flagship will now be aimed at April-June period, matching Samsung. I sense a change in strategy.

My advise is, stop using those 3rd party apps, just use official Instagram else you'll keep getting that reset password from Instagram. Though I love 6tag, I can't keep changing my password every 2 weeks. So much for officially sanctioned 3rd party app by Instagram. Instagram just screwed the poor dev.

I was only using 6tag for months but started getting password reset from Instagram around over a month ago. After changing my password for the 4th time, I gave up & uninstalled 6tag....

It's true that most 6tag users do not have this problem. I wish I knew what the problem was. It may have to do with me using Instance before 6tag, but I've stopped using Instance & removed it some time ago. So now I'm on official Instagram client only, lets see if I still get emails from Instagram about suspicious activity in my account.
