Guys...I know this is not the correct thread.
But I want to promote a little brand by Nokia's ex employee...Jolla Today just received my T-shirt from Jolla. Why not everyone show some interest by signing up at Jolla website so that maybe when it is launch...Malaysia will be among the countries blessed with this phone... I still love Nokia though but, hey, the more the merrier right. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Sep 3 2013, 01:12 PM) This merge could possibly speed up development of Windows Phone, and the speed of updates as well. Im seeing good things out of this actually. Haters gonna hate, especially among the tech communities online, because they keep dreaming of a Nokia Android phone LOL. Now, they can still keep dreaming if they want to. Adter using WP, Im NOT going back to Android. And it could possibly mean that no one will be pushing for the development of wp8 anymore...Nokia will be just another unit under msft. Just like X-box. I see the body yet the Nokia is no more there.Nokia finally bite the 'apple' So sad. |

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Sep 3 2013, 05:54 PM) Never say anything about hating Msft...just pity that there will be no more Nokia innovation with Nokia spirit.I'm a bit skeptical though about Nokia under the supervision of msft...for example the x-box fiasco, windows vista, windows 8??? Development or rather update of wp8? I wonder what will be the corporate stucture within Nokia. Will msft have any influence in determine the design of upcoming smartphone (we know the best for you concept)... Or, will msft let Nokia run the show? QUOTE(KelvBlue @ Sep 3 2013, 08:18 PM) Vista is not a flop. Vista is the OS that pushed the lazy hardware manufacturer to churn out the specs to keep up with the OS, much like Windows 8 now that pushing the manufacture to the era of touchscreen monitor. Windows 7 that everyone praises is essentially a Vista repackaged with minor enhancement. This will be the same few years down the road and everyone will say how good the Windows 9 is going to be. The key word will be 'discussion'.Does that word have any meaning to microsoft? Why can't they discussed the hardware requirement with the manufacturer before releasing vista or 8? Why must msft arrogantly released the vista before any of the manufacturers were able to build a decent machine? |

QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Sep 3 2013, 05:12 PM) Microsoft Hater: TYPE I Am a Die Hard Fan of Nokia...but not msft.Must have been the oldschool boys (who are now adults in their late 30s or 40s) - back in the 1990s Microsoft was a complete assh0le (like Apple and Google is today) who used underhanded tactics to make Windows what it is today - a dominant OS while Linux and OSX slips into oblivion, while under Bill Gates. After Ballmer took over Microsoft within 12 years he made 2 big flop products - Windows Vista & Windows RT (and the next closest thing to them is Windows 8, although they are just sad losers who doesnt want to learn new things). TYPE II "I want Nokia on Android (and enjoy the camera), but it wont happen now! Fark u M'soft!" I would happily announce to the world Im microsoft's new B!tch. Problem? I like Nokia's products, will continue supporting them even with this merger. Being a msft b*tch?...only after they prove their worth. But now, let's wait and see. |

QUOTE(GothFebrio @ Oct 15 2013, 05:35 AM) the phone storage menu is different now, cant say im having any "issue" having 2.58GB System(now they call it) and with a note "These files make your phone work. You don't want to delete them. Trust us." The note is like msft giving an excuse for their inability to fix the issue...lol. What exactly is in the other storage that supposedly make my phone works? |
