Same with mine, sent mine into Nokia care and they said either screen problem or motherboard problem. Reckoning they would change both. No use hard resetting 

then just live with the faulty glance screen  or just turn it off 

Hie guys, got huge problem here. Dono if u guys mentioned before. My 920 wont restart after it shut down by itself. After restart using Power button + Volume down button, comes out NOKIA logo then whole screen is BLUE. after a while it will shut down again. Is this wat the called BSOD Blue Screen Of Death? How to deal with it. Thx.

new Yellow Owner here, bought from DirectD for RM999, the RM969 is only for Black, there was only 2 units left when I bought it yesterday. comes free with the Qi wireless charger (only black is available), overall pretty satisfied though i miss some features from Android

Naked 920 here, came out from the car, the phone slips out of my pocket and landed on the road. Suffered heavy dent on the top left with sim card tray and some sharp rock managed to cut a tiny hole on the naked screen. 

Phone still works great. Perhaps get a new color housing when the warranty finish.

About the GPS, I have a VKOOL tint on my car hence it won't lock on GPS unless I wind down the window together with a clear sky, the GPS locks instantly.

btw, anyone here got screen 'hiccups' before? Like 3/4 screen won't display (black) properly after unlock?

DirectD is now out of stock damnit! I was hoping to have that option as a last resort but now I'm forced to get something else

When you first boot up the phone do u guys set it to Malaysia or some other county? Coz the windows phone store varies from region to region right?

just soft reset or reboot can already...

actually no need reboot also can...just press back until close all the app and wait a while memory will be released...

sometimes because app like games use a lot of ram caused slow down....

Does it happen to only certain specific apps or generally it's common? It's pretty uncommon for me to get resuming black screen, unless i paused a game, jumped to home page to do something, then go back to the game (resuming for 2 or 3 seconds at most). Otherwise, everything also loads/runs immediately whenever i go back to the app i left in the background without the resuming sign.

Here's a hint - it could be because of flash memory experiencing wear and tear over time (especially if you are the kind who keeps deleting and copying/adding new stuff repeatedly into your phone, i.e. lots of file writing). Flash memory used in phones degrade over time causing slower and slower reading & writing speeds, that's why nowadays we upgrade to new phone every 2 years, and phones become laggy over time (especially android and the older symbian). It's not just because of memory-demanding tasks and apps, but also the degradation of the hardware.

SSDs also have this issue - they are not as long lasting as HDDs, they may speed up an OS but not ideal for file storage compared to HDDs.
