1st, is ur phone new or used? if new u nid to give the battery at least a week time (roughly 5~7 charges) to allow it to preform as it may.

secondly, were u on data roaming? if yes thn is any of ur apps is not shut down completely? u can check them at setting -> swipe left and select background apps.

if non of these help, try restart ur phone manually, switch it off for at least 10sec thn switch it back on.

did anyone figured out how to play all format of videos on wp8 yet?

after using BLACK for 2 days, noticed that wechat got no notification AT ALL, even after reinstalled also no luck, izit just me or anyone suffering the same issue?

any recommendation to solve this?

yup did enable that and even double confirm that setting, tho about ur double notification i did suffer from it recently shortly b4 updated to BLACK... weird... guess it was the app's problem then...

tried soft-reset + reinstalled 5.1.1 wechat... still no luck in fixing it... gonna live with it for a little longer and hope it will get fixed magically soon...

it seems i found the cause of delaying wechat notification, it was quick tiles... after sudden heat up issue today i restarted and hope to solve the heating problem which IIRC caused by quick tiles, however after half hour it started to heat up once again and i decided to uninstall it...


after uninstalled I restart the phone once again and BAM~ no more delaying notifications... still doesnt know why quick tiles will cause such problem tho....

well jus wanna share a fresh experience, after updating to BLACK OTA, all the apps seems starting to work kinda weird, not that to say they're bad but it did behave like something's wrong....

after tolerating notification delay for almost 5 days after BLACK, i decided to backup and do a clean update via NSU and thus downloaded the file 1.5 Gb, after reupdating it work well once again, instant IM notifications (watsapp, wechat, LINE), battery draining was never so minimal, overnight with 2g+wifi all night oni cost 3% battery, page switching etc. was fater thn OTA update mayb cos of some system files overiding or corruption, it beats me bout clean update works like a charm...


so if anyone was experiencing issues after OTA i suggest to try backup and clean update...

hmm... tried to switch it on~off 5 times continuously, 2 sec to off and 2 sec to reconnect, is tis consider fast?

open with oni WEP encryp... tried fren's WPA2 still 2~3 sec off/reconnect...


been using UCbrowser with speed mode, no text justified prob so far...

hehehe i've been OTA updated twice (amber/black), both also din yield good results, always after OTA thn the delay IM notification issue comes in... but weird enuf that after perform a clean update it works like a charm...


but bear in mind that I cant guarantee a clean update will solve your problems too.. so be aware of the risk for redownloading all your apps and maps etc...
